Introduction
My friend told me about this website; he said I'd find it a bigger outlet than 'spamming /po/ with my box collection'. So, against my better judgement, I decided to join. I probably should have lurked a little more first, but there's nothing wrong with emerging from the shadows.
I'm not sure how consistent my posting will be. My living situation is quite awkward at the moment (to be more specific - rented accommodation, roommate, proxy server) and I have a very busy life. But I'll try to take part in things.
Actually, my first question for this community - I was going to link you to the PayPal of a certain not-for-profit organisation which I was hoping some of you might be interested in donating to, but for some reason it isn't working. My roommate warned me that the Internet doesn't seem to work the same way it normally does here. So how does it work?

Advertising spiel aside, we're really short on money right now. I suggested the cute girl who works with us take her clothes off for people who donate but she said no. But I'll do it, if that would give you the incentive to donate!
If you donate more than $100 we get to pay less tax on the donation. So please, donate as much as you're willing.

I have my own philanthropy: the worldwide spreading of the importance of LOVE AND PEACE. It is a worthwhile pursuit, and nobody has to donate. But I do accept donuts and beer.
By the way, my name's Vash. :D

There are other ways you can help out, if you can.
For instance, seen any of these anywhere?:

Incidentally, did you know the largest cardboard box in the world was made in Canada, back in 2001? It's 934 x 304 x 219 centimetres, and at least three hundred men could fit inside it comfortably. I've only seen pictures of it, but it is beautiful - I want to see it in person, but I've got no idea what I'd do.

Jesus Christ.Whoring your organization out on the internet is not a good way to get donations, friend.no subject
First of all, it's advertising. Secondly, it raises awareness. Thirdly, we don't have a website of our own for reasons far too complicated to go in to here. So unless you have a better idea, I'll plug the organisation here, thanks.
