[ accidental video ]

[ It was the baseball field. For the first time, it appeared to be raining. Pouring, even. The ground was soaked. The SSS was soaked. And they were all there, backs to each other, weapons drawn. Surrounded by what appeared to be normal students. Normal students, one with a hat commanding them.

Words being said weren't audible, the only audio around was the pouring rain and thunder. Yuri was yelling though, pointing at the leader. One of the NPCs moved and the SSS took up their arms and broke the circle, trying evasive moves above all else. It was obvious that they weren't trying to take out the students, but each and every one of them were trying to get to the boy in the hat. It wouldn't work though. He would pull NPCs in front of him-- use them as shields, hold them as hostages whenever someone got close and that person would be seized by other NPCs. Blood was being spilled left and right and they still continued fighting.

Yuri moved to the side after tapping Hinata on the shoulder and ran into a building with Hinata covering her. After a few moments she comes out, looking at Hinata, then she ducks down behind the building and pulls out a walkie talkie, repeatedly calling into it.

Gunfire, screams in the background can be barely heard over the storm. Yuri looks up from the walkie talkie and Hinata runs off to help the person who had just been taken out. Yuri speaks into the walkie talkie, almost frantically. When she's done, she lets it fall to the ground.

She doesn't have time to put it away, there's an NPC running at her. She does a drop role to get out of the way, then gets shot in the leg by him and cries out. That's not enough to stop her. She dives at that NPC to knock him over. As long as she doesn't kill him, it's fine right? His view of things isn't the same though. As she tries to punch him out, he continues trying to shoot her, putting two more bullets into her. She manages to knock him out though, then runs at Naoi, that boy with the hat, since she's got an opening. Another gunshot to her stomach, then an NPC runs behind her and runs her through with a weapon they'd stolen from one of the SSS members. The video blacks out as Yuri falls face-down to the ground.

A black screen remains for a few minutes, only coming back into view once Yuri regains consciousness. She struggles for a moment, but can't seem to move. Then...

The video cuts out mid-scream. ]

[he gives her a light squeeze of her hand.]

[ She stares at him with scrutiny for a few more seconds before releasing his hand. ]

Can I claim the first one or were you saving it for something?

[Ah.... he just shakes his head, smiling a little bit.]

Is that a no I can't or a no you didn't have anything planned for it? [ She pauses. ] You've got two seconds before I decide it's the second one and do it before you can answer.

[God dammit, just shut up already Yuri.

Battler is already wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her against him. And before she can really say anything else, he's leaning in to kiss her. You're too slow Yuri, get it together.]

[ Hey, she was trying to be the one in charge here! When Battler does that she make a surprised sound. She's still not used to it, not when she's not the one who initiates it even if she's the one who suggested it. She'd even been stalling because she still had some hesitation about doing this sort of thing, just because of everything that keeps happening, but...

Yuri's fingers wrap around the edge of the material of Battler's cape as he takes her lips, drawing a breath through her nose as she returns the kiss. It only takes a couple of seconds more before she's pulling at him via his cape, as though trying to pull him down a little bit further-- as though she's trying to pull him closer. ]

[Oh god dammit how he missed this. He had to be that Game Master of his world, he had to act like such a high and mighty person that he had completely forgotten what it even felt like to kiss her. After all, the last time had been.... back when Steve first got his powers, and they decided to call this off. Looks like that's a lost cause though, they can never truly stay away can they?

Battler makes a sound against her lips when he feels her pulling him down closer to her. What the hell is this? Trying to fight for dominance? She really doesn't give up.]

[ It wasn't just because she wanted to play around with him or because she wanted to be dominant. Right now, Yuri wanted to feel some kind of control. Not specifically over Battler, just.. something. Anything. Being able to do that with this kiss with Battler, already enjoyable just by happening, would make her feel more comfortable. Even if he'd calmed her down, cheered her up, having lost that control had gotten to her. Deeply. It wasn't as though she wanted to make Battler be the submissive one this time, just that she wanted to feel like she had some power over something right now when everything but this seemed to have started falling to pieces.

Battler was both her safe zone and the person she felt most on-edge with. He was the one person that she couldn't seem to put at arm's length no matter how hard she tried. The only person who wouldn't quit on her if she closed herself off, the person who would never let her quit. Maybe that was why she couldn't quit him. Yuri pulled him closer still, taking a step back toward the bed. ]

[When he felt her take a step back towards the bed he was already one step ahead of her. He had been holding back doing this again for a long time, and after feeling her against him, tasting her- it was all coming back to him and he didn't want it to end any time soon. Battler's hands moved down her body, going right to her thighs. Even though Yuri wanted to feel in control of something, Battler was still far too stubborn to let just anyone walk all over him. Soon he had grabbed her legs, pulling her up so her legs were wrapped around him and he was holding her up off of the ground.

Of course, this position hadn't lasted long. It was useful since he walked over to the bed with her and plopped her right down. Of course he still hadn't even broken the kiss after all this time, his head swimming and feeling dizzy. He needed air, but he didn't dare pull away and come up for it.]

[ When a deep breath was almost audible as it passed through Yuri's nose, it made their mutual reluctance to pull away from this definitively spelled out. She didn't want to let go of it. If they stopped and started, would it count as a second kiss? The more Yuri thought about it, the more only having three seemed like a stupider and stupider idea. If kisses were anything like wishes, then that would mean the magic only would work two more times. No matter how "endless" Battler's magic was supposed to be.

Once she was picked up, Yuri released his cape and placed a hand on the back of his neck, idly playing with the back of his collar with her fingers. Even though she'd been relocated to the bed and could've easily removed her legs from around his body, she decided to keep them there. It held him closer. Tighter. Somehow it felt like if she didn't let go, this wouldn't have to end. ]

[Oh god dammit... when she didn't even let go his mind couldn't help but wander to where this could possibly go. No, it was supposed to just be a kiss and everything but... it's still so hard to hold back with her. Even so- if he doesn't do something soon his body might start doing things without him really knowing about it.

Battler pressed his lips harder against hers, but after a moment he started to pull away. He wasn't dead like she was after all, he really did need to breathe or else he'd just pass out. Battler was panting slightly after his mouth had left hers, opening his eyes slightly and staring down at her.]

Holy shit... [game masters aren't supposed to talk like that!!!]

[ All at once, it stopped and Yuri's eyes turned to Battler's face. Her chest heaved for breath, almost in pain from having lacked a decent supply. Something tight in her chest pulled too, but she knew that wasn't because of what they'd been doing, it was because of what they weren't.

Of course now that they were just staring at each other, heat apparent in both o them, Yuri had no idea what to say.

No, she did, even if her words were breathless, whispered. The tone almost held a smile in it. ]

It doesn't count as a separate kiss if it's within the same hour as the end of the last one.

[Battler merely smirked at her response, a small laugh erupting from him and he just shook his head.]

You never change.... [unlike him, unlike how he's always changing and trying to stray away from that asshole of a sorcerer... but looks like he's still right on track to becoming that.]

[ If only that were true. If she hadn't changed, she wouldn't be here right now. She would be where she was supposed to be. She wouldn't be letting herself depend on another person as long as she could help it. Yuri wouldn't have feelings for Battler. For anyone. Battler might be becoming harder, but Yuri's heart was growing softer. No matter how much she feared it or hated herself for wanting something like this. There was a brief flicker in Yuri's eye. She was changing and it was his fault. Yuri's eyelids lowered halfway, but her tone was teasing. ]

Fine, that counts solely as one. You get two more and then you're out of luck. Look how fast I changed.

[It's alright Yuri, Battler was mostly kidding around anyways. He may be that sorcerer that's turned more serious and bitter than anything, but he's still the same old Battler deep down, he wants to go back to the way things were though- he doesn't.. always like being this serious, but it's hard under the circumstances.]

You can't be serious- do you really think I'll accept something like that? Sorry.

[ And that's why he can be here with Yuri. She's hardly going to go around telling everyone and their dog that he's secretly still a big goofball she may or may not enjoy hanging out on top of her. ]

You know, there are punishments for not following your leader's orders.

[ From the tone of her voice? They didn't sound like they would be all that horrible. ]

[Battler leaned down towards her yet again and kissed at her neck.]

What kind of punishments?

[ Yuri closed her eyes for a brief moment as she felt Battler's lips graze her skin. It was hard to think of something that could really be considered a 'punishment' like this, but if anyone could do it it was her. Her own kisses pressed against Battler's temple and the top of his head as he moved down further. ]

Hmm.. [ There were things she could think of, but most of them were a little too bold. She'd barely let him touch her breast today, she wasn't going to go too far. Especially since she still had her legs around him. ]

What if I make you sit in the bathroom while I shower, but not be allowed to move the shower curtain so you can't see anything but you'll still know I'm there and that you can't touch me?

[ If he couldn't see anything besides a shadowed silhouette behind a curtain it wouldn't be too embarrassing for her, right? It'd be teasing as hell to him. ...and her, but she wouldn't have to worry about that being visually obvious. ]

[...Oho- what kind of torture was that exactly? No no, that wasn't good, it wasn't the kind of torture he was expecting. It would be horrible, really- but he could endure. It seems like she's becoming less intense... poor Yuri.

Battler went back to Yuri's mouth, but his lips ere just barely grazing hers.]

....That's so useless.

[And he pulls away from her. He can torture too!!]

[ Okay she hadn't been expecting that. She had been trying to be nice, trying to do something that wouldn't really hurt him but would be something he couldn't stand. Yuri wasn't sure if he was trying to bait her into going further or make her feel like still didn't have even a smidgen of control over what was going on. Maybe he was trying to make her feel like whatever it was wouldn't be enough, but whatever it was, it was starting to piss her off.

When he pulled back, she moved her legs, but they didn't go far. If he wanted punishment, she could give him pain just as easily as she could give him pleasure. Her next move was to attempt to shove him onto his back and climb on top of him. She wanted to pin him to the damn bed, and if she could get him there, then she would say what she wanted to. ]

[Whoa jeez Yuri! Battler is suddenly on his back and she's climbed on top of him, he's just staring up at her with a raised eyebrow. Looks like teasing her and saying such a thing was useless was a bad move. Man, now he can't even joke around a bit anymore...]

...You know, I was just kidding.

Shut up. If you want a real punishment I could always just mess with you in here until you get so hard you can't stand it, then leave a special video message for the community and make sure that all the people from your world see it before I leave you here. Alone.

[ Joking around with her would be fine, but not now. Later, maybe. Right now, "useless" was what she'd already been feeling. Being called that would've been fine if she didn't already feel it because of what Naoi had done to her. ]

And that's without ever physically hurting you, so if you want me to step up my game still, feel free to let me know.

[...Ah- this is going somewhere he really hadn't expected. She was looking pretty pissed, and his expression changed to one of concern. He was wrong to think she had gotten better since she had even started to act like herself again, but it seems like.... that all crumbled away yet again after he said something like that to her.

Battler reached up to her and placed a hand on her cheek, his thumb brushing over her skin.]

Hey.... I'm sorry, but you know I won't back down from doing something that'll make you feel better in the end.

I just want you to be happy after all.

[ She seemed to calm down a little bit when he did that. A comforting gesture, letting her know that he wasn't trying to piss her off. Yuri realized she was the one acting out of line right now, but instead of apologizing she sat back, resting her bottom on his lap and looking to the side. ]

Then don't call me useless for suggesting something I'm comfortable with doing with you. [ It'd made her feel like she couldn't even do enough here, with him.

She didn't want to feel like she couldn't do anything right. She didn't want to feel like she couldn't hold a fight against anyone, she didn't want to feel like she couldn't protect the people she cared about, and she didn't want to feel like when she tried to open herself up to doing something new to Battler, that she wasn't enough. ] Play-punishment game or not.

[Battler sighs a little bit at that, but at least he's smiling more so now.]

Right right.... that word won't ever leave my lips again.

[his hand leaves her and goes back to resting on the bed.]

So sorry about that.
