[ The video takes a moment to adjust to what is clearly a beautiful night sky - if anyone thought the milky way was pretty just multiply it by ten and that's the general idea of what it is. There's the clamor of feasting and fighting in the background, but it's distant.

Instead there's Sif, lit by firelight in full armor - her own winged helm and all. ]

Friends of Steven Rogers - Thor [ Pan down, and there's Thor with his own helmed head in her lap, sleeping, before panning back up again. ] and I have waited for him at Valhalla for some time. And it is with mixed emotions that I say we have not yet seen him.

So there is hope yet that somehow, he still lives.

[ There's an oddly warm smile, and then the camera pans up to the stars again before cutting out. ]

[ Hurriedly stuffing her phone away, Sif turns to him and tries to regain some sort of composure. Except it's probably failing. ]

Nothing I will not overcome in time, Thor.

[godofabs]

(and that thor knows her a lot better than she thinks so.)

Sif, you may lie to the others, but you cannot lie to me. What happened?

[glaived]

[ damnit thor ]

Loki-- I spoke with him. He yet lives, but Thor...

[ a shake of her head. ]

I fear he is much changed.

[godofabs]

(he pulls her close, knowing her feelings for loki and offering himself as a pillar for her to lean on.)

Tell me.

[glaived]

[ which she takes full advantage of, and refuses to cry though gods does she feel like it. ]

Whatever has happened to him has made him bitter and angry, unreachable by reason or kindness. Whatever affection we once shared - anyone shared with him - has no doubt been torn asunder.

(he holds her even closer.)

[ burying her face in his chest nbd. ]

Th burden is not mine alone to bear, yes. But, the fault is mine. I am sorry, I should have known his true heart, yet I did not take a chance to look behind me to see him.
