[Hello, community -- this is a video post, and for once it's intentional. Reeve is standing in front of a field of debris, and far in the background is an ocean. Reeve pushes a button -- and suddenly a huge dam across the harbor lights up. Water begins pouring through it, spinning turbines and as the energy builds, a generator in the foregrounds hums to life.]
And there it is.
[Reeve looks unapologetic ally proud, settling a familiar, furry kitten on his hip.] The Midgar reconstruction project is now one-hundred percent clean energy. If we can finish out the year successfully, we can begin phasing in hydroelectric power in place of coal. Edge should be 100% self sustaining in five years. And to think, Rufus wanted solar power.
And now, I am taking a very well earned vacation.
[Private; Locked to friends of 11-12.]
Is there anyone who would be willing to host 11-12 for a few days, let him explore their world? I'm sorry to ask like this, but it's rather important.

[Not that it's likely and certainly not for her world but hey, maybe his is different.]

[Reeve isn't going to make a big deal out of it, but he sort of redefined salable energy on Gaia. Twice.]

It's something the matter?
Re: [Private]
Not -- in the sense you're thinking. He's just so dependent on me, and I'm afraid that if anything ever happened, he'd be... lost.
[Arthur's been in 11-12's subconscious, Reeve trusts him to understand.]
[Private]
Ah, I see. [Yes, Arthur understands, way too well.]
Did he finish his studies? Or does he have a job now? One could be good for him even if it's just something simple.
Re: [Private]
I know this adjustment has been terrible for him, I just hate the thought that if anything happened to me, he would... become what he was before.
[Private]
I promise that if something happen to you I will look after him.

Where's vacation territory at, for you?

[As for his vacation... he smiles a little, looking fond.]
Just back home. I made someone a promise that, barring complete catastrophe, he could have my full and devoted attention.

Entirely self-sustaining? What about emissions?
no subject
It depends on what element's used to power it ... palladium works, but it's got a pretty nasty chemical output that can be counteracted by a certain ratio of chlorophyll ...
Right now I've got a new element, giving it a road test. They wouldn't let me patent "badassium" so I settled on "legatium". That's still pending, too, though. So far, though, so good. It's been running on it a few months with no side effects. It's entropy mainly, no real discernible gaseous, liquid, or solid emissions. Just an energy exchange.
