I would assume the celebration part would remain the same, but things are still vastly different than they were in my time.

Honestly? I never actually saw an ordinary wedding. Engagement parties, yes. Eloping, yes. Other than that, I'm not sure.

It is definitely starting to look like it. My last marriage was not one of much...preparation, shall we say. Add that to the fact that it was a very long time ago and I fear I am a bit lost for how things work now.
