I've never been really sure how long it's been, but... the village where I grew up. Might be a couple hundred years ago; I got where I am now with time travel. One-way.

I don't think I could stay, not after everything that's changed. But it'd be nice to see, just for a little while.

It's always nice to see something beyond our years in either direction but one can't live in the past. One must learn to move forward but we must always be careful when going into the past, because we could change the future in unpredicable ways.

I'm not, I'm like twenty-three. Like I said, time travel. Found this artifact and got sent into the future.

I don't want to change anything, anyway. I just want to see the place again. I know I couldn't stay; I've changed too much since then.

I have time traveled before a couple times. Both times I didn't do so by choice. Long stories.

How did you accomplish such a feat?

[He switches to audio since there would be too much for him to type, plus it's just easier this way.] Okay, there's a man named Dr. Eggman that has been trying to take over our world for years. My friend Sonic and I have been able to stop him and save our world.

The first time was three years ago. Eggman build a proto-type machine to travel through time, but he couldn't completely control where you would go, so he tried to release a monster called Solaris, a god that could control time. He kidnapped the princess of Soleanna since she was the key to summoning it. He told us that if we brought a chaos emerald - another kinda long story - to him, he would release the princess. We brought it to him, but he told the emerald and activated the machine on us. We were sent about 200 years in the future, but we were able to get back using two chaos emeralds.

Eventually Solaris was released because it was sealed inside her and time almost got destroyed. Luckily Sonic, Shadow, and Silver were able to beat Solaris using all seven emeralds. For some reason, my memory of that time was erased for a couple years. Most likely a side-effect of defeating Solaris.

The second time was about a couple weeks ago. Eggman found another monster that could remove events from a time-line. He took advantage of it by contacting his younger self back when he used to be known as Dr. Robotnic and using his help to turn it into a robot. He used that thing to kidnap me and a few friends during Sonic's birthday party. We were sent through time holes and sent though different points in time. We also somehow ended up in some white limbo and most of us were turned into statues. [He makes a audible shudder.] That was horrible. I was I was dead again. Floating without a body in black limbo. I'm still dealing with the nightmares from that.

[He clears his throat.] Anyway, Sonic saved me and the rest of us, though he had help from his younger self. I also was with my younger self, but we didn't just stand around while we were there. Apparently the community reacted to what was happening and sent a couple members in here and even freezing another one. Me and little me were able to save them...though I'm starting to think one of them got let go from the community. Which I hope not since I still needed to talk to him.

I'm getting off-track. After both Sonics were able to rescue everyone, we confronted both Eggmen and that was when we learned the truth. We were lucky to have the Chaos Emeralds with us 'cause that was what we needed to defeat them. Both Sonics used them and we got all sent back to our time, though both little Sonic and little me did hang around for a few minutes before they went back to their time.

After the party, I world-hopped those that were in the white limbo with us back home. Sometime that night though, apparently the timeline finished correcting itself 'cause one moment it was still June 23rd and the next it was July 6th, the community's time. I got those lost memories back so now I have two sets of memories. I'm surprised I'm not insane yet.

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense to you. My world is considered weird by most other worlds.

I'd probably go way into the future to see if humans are still surviving on other planets and to see what the technology is like.

Not a decade. I don't think a lot would have changed in ten years. Maybe a century though.

I'd like to go to the future. I'd like to see if the war in our world has been resolved... or maybe to the past before the war began.

Well, there has been fighting for a while, but the main fighting started in 2307 AD.

[Doc might get a bit of a shock at the sudden appearance of a blue transparent man right before his eyes.]

"Provided you've got one of these babies," [John lifts his arm showing off his wrist strap.] "Time is yours to play with...mostly."

Play with? Time is nothing to play with! You could end up ripping up the very fabric of time and destroying the universe as you know it.

I don't wish to elaborate, since there are a lot of painful, personal matters involved. But... there is one day that I would rather live over in order to...change it for the better.

Back in time so long as I could remember what I did the first time around so I didn't make the same mistakes.

Time travel within your universe, not between other universes that don't pertain to your own or without the help of those viruses.
