...I passed my Mark of Mastery exam. But our friend Terra didn't.

There was...something wrong. Some kind of darkness. None of us know what it was, but the Master felt he needed to control it better before he could become a Master.

The only clue I have is that it happened after the initial test malfunctioned. We were supposed to combat orbs of light, but there was a twinge of darkness around them, and they started attacking, even going after Ven, who was just watching. Maybe that could have affected Terra?

Maybe you're right... I mean, this is the first time he's ever had a problem with darkness, right? You'd think it might've come up before now, since you've been training with your Keyblades for this long.

I dunno, Aqua... I'm really not an expert. But if something went wrong with the test even before that, maybe that does have something to do with it.

But then where did it come from? This world is supposed to be in balance.
