video; canon move
[The video opens on a reasonably open area, where the sound of low moaning is echoing around the clearing as a pack of zombies shuffle- well, mostly shuffle; a few are loping disturbingly fast- into view. From somewhere behind the camera there's the voice of a young man who is decidedly too excited about this development.]
Shit, George, we got company. Look at 'em all!
[The next voice is distinctly Georgia Mason's, though muffled by the sound of her bike helmet. You can't see the bike, mainly because the cameras are on it.]
I'm looking Now get on!
[The camera goes shaky as the bike starts moving, shuddering over the rough ground. It picks up speed quickly, heading away from the zombies with all possible speed. The moaning doesn't seem to get quieter.
There's also the sound of the young man yelling with excitement and taunting the zombies, because some people are just suicidal or something.]
Hold on, you idiot!
I am holding on!
Hold on with both hands!
[The voices are close to inaudible above the wind, but the young man's mutter of 'spoilsport' can still be heard.
Georgia angles the bike up a hill, bringing more zombies out of the scenery as they pass the remains of old houses and trashcans, moving too quickly for them to catch.]
George? What do you think you're doing?
Hold on.
[Her voice is focused, distracted from her big stupid brother. They're heading up the hill, doing their best to pick up speed as they go. She has a Plan. Maybe not the greatest plan, but they do need to get out of Santa Cruz alive.
Her brother doesn't sound happy anymore. He sounds worried.]
Georgia, this is a hill!
I got that.
Why are we going up a hill?
[Shaun probably can't hear her answers, but the microphones in her helmet pick it up clearly.]
Ever wonder how the Wright Brothers felt?
Georgia!
Hold on!
[Georgia heads straight for a chain-link fence angled out away from the road, the shaking of the camera getting even worse as they hit it, heading up, up, up, and over the zombies waiting for them, their ranks three deep.
It's a beautiful jump, even if it was a shitty ramp, and Shaun is hollering again. The camera cuts off before they hit the ground.]

[Voice]
Nice. Especially for a ramp like that. You and your friend okay?
[Voice]
Thanks. Amazing what you can do under duress, huh?
Yeah, Shaun and I are fine.
[Voice]
Good to hear. Honestly, if you'd gotten caught after an escape like that I don't think there'd be any justice in the world.
[Voice]
Hah. Who says there's justice in the world? The footage would have been impressive, at least.
Re: [Voice]
Maybe you should consider using the footage the community takes. I mean, if it's going to do it anyway...
[Voice]
It looks like it jacked into our feed and used the footage we were already taking, actually- I guess it doesn't need to bother taking its own footage when it can just use ours.

Also I think I'd have to boycott the place, because if it decides to imitate the Baron I'm done with it.

Are you-
Are you alright?
Just dandy. We got away clean and got some good footage.
