[The feed cuts in on a console room. A very exuberant voice echos from the other side of the room, growing louder as he hops closer]

Alright alright I know I said they were ant people but I had no idea they were actually ant sized ant people. It didn't say anything about it on the brochure... that I saw... [He spins into view, waving a hand.] whenIskimmedit but! [He shoots a cheeky smirk at his companions] Now you can honestly say you've had an entire planet look up to you!

[He laughs, grinning as he turns to look at his scanner... and sees something entirely unexpected.] Hullo. What's this? [He taps a finger on the screen]

A live feed? [Frowning slightly he plays with the knobs and settings to no avail. Finally he pulls out his screwdriver, scanning the whole thing. With a flick of the wrist he flips it open and surveys the readings] It seems the TARDIS has been connected to some sort of internet feed.

[He looks up, squinting at the screen] Who's out there?

Well, you're downright cutting edge now. [Little grin.] I think it's, well, it's weird. Really weird. But weird seems to be the new normal.

...and I keep hearing and using that phrase lately too. New normal. Horrifying.

The new. Normal. [He seems to roll the words around in his mouth, trying them out.]

I'm not sure if that's even much of a proper phrase since normal is completely subjective based on wherever you seem to be at the time. For example, in one place normal may be everyone walking backwards and speaking in rhyme where in another cat people rule the planet and have little tiny dogs as pets.

[...pardon Peter will he blinks at you.] Sure, yeah. Normal is subjective.

But uh... are those just examples off the top of your head or personal experiences?

[He actually looks surprised at the question, giving Peter a deer in the headlights look for a moment. But just a moment. When it passes he smiles]

Oh they're real places I've visited. When you've seen as many things as I have making things up just seems like a waste don't you think?

That's... yeah, wow.

Well I guess so. I mean, my experience is a little more limited. Though less so lately. [All the weird things.]

So umm... you some sort of space... traveler then?

You could say that, yes. [He spreads his arms, gesturing to the console room]

This is my ship, the TARDIS. Time And relative Dimension In Space.

That's... [He's peering closer at his screen to see now.] ...fantastic.

Interesting name too.

Wow. I keep talking to people who travel through space and stuff. Or are aliens. [ROBOT ALIENS.] This network gets crazier and cooler all the time.

So it's not just humans able to connect to the community? [He pauses before smacking himself in the forehead] Well that's obvious, isn't it.

Next question: I've heard that others can travel between dimensions and worlds. I'm curious about the different methods people use.

Is it obvious? [Curious.] Are you... not human?

Yeah. They can. All sorts of ways. One, uh, guy uses some sorts of bridges. And others just kind of teleport?

I mean, I'm just a normal non-dimension-hopping sort of human.

Not a bit. I'm a Time Lord.

Bridges? A dimensional time-bridge? Do you meant that in the sense that there's a bridge between the worlds or is there literally a bridge that you walk across and end up somewhere else?

Time Lord. [Little shake of his head.] Not sure I've ever heard of that. But around here that's probably not surprising.

You know, I don't know. Knock Out didn't talk about it so much except to say it managed to exist without throwing everything into a giant sci-fi movie type paradox and ruining history.

Not surprising. Many people have only heard of where I'm from in myths if at all.

Knock Out? There's someone here named Knock Out? I hope he doesn't take his name literally.

Yeah, Knock Out. He ah... he's kind of a robotic life form. Transforms into a sports car. It's, well, yeah. This place is kind of crazy sometimes.

A robotic life form that transforms into a car? Oh now I know I have to meet him. [he laughs]

Yeah, ah, he's a nice guy. Really. Big though.

Really big? How big?

Big. Big enough to be a regular sized car. Significantly taller when he's not in car-shape.

Of course. It makes perfect sense. If he transforms out of a car it would make sense he'd be taller since all of that mass would have to be spread out in a different configuration to allow him different forms of movement. It makes perfect sense. I'd love to see him transform. It's a brilliant idea.

Yeah. Admittedly the way it works is... [Peter desperately wants to see schematics -- since he thinks taking a living being apart would be frowned upon. Cybertronians are not toasters or CD ROM drives.]

[Eleven raises his eyebrows expectantly.]

Is...

[Yeah sorry there, Doctor. He got caught up letting his nerdy little imagination fly away without him.] I don't know. That's the thing. I'd love to figure it out, get a closer look. But I think that would be rude, you know? I think I might be weirded out if someone, ah, you know, came up and wanted a closer look at my digestive system or something, if it were me.

[There's something weird with that? He looks actually puzzled for a moment as he thinks about this]

Maybe he'd let me do a scan if I met him. I'd love to know how all of the pieces move and slot together to form not one but two fully functioning mechanical forms with a complete AI system.
