[The feed cuts in on a console room. A very exuberant voice echos from the other side of the room, growing louder as he hops closer]

Alright alright I know I said they were ant people but I had no idea they were actually ant sized ant people. It didn't say anything about it on the brochure... that I saw... [He spins into view, waving a hand.] whenIskimmedit but! [He shoots a cheeky smirk at his companions] Now you can honestly say you've had an entire planet look up to you!

[He laughs, grinning as he turns to look at his scanner... and sees something entirely unexpected.] Hullo. What's this? [He taps a finger on the screen]

A live feed? [Frowning slightly he plays with the knobs and settings to no avail. Finally he pulls out his screwdriver, scanning the whole thing. With a flick of the wrist he flips it open and surveys the readings] It seems the TARDIS has been connected to some sort of internet feed.

[He looks up, squinting at the screen] Who's out there?

I'm connected to the internet? I'm just using my Wayfinder.

[Ven shrugs.] I didn't name it! [But now he thinks about it...it does seem strange. Maybe because he, Terra and Aqua were bound to leave once they'd all passed their Mark of Mastery exams.]

Oh...[He looks sad now.] I'm sorry.

Well I'm not exactly sure what a Wayfinder is, unless of course it's just a device used to find your way in which case I know exactly what it is... however, this community seems to be using an interdimensional internet connection that can connect to devices that aren't typically compatible for that sort of thing.

[He waves a hand]

It happened a very long time ago. [for normal people, at least] People in this universe typically don't even know about my planet so there's no way you could have known.

A Wayfinder helps you keep your friends close in your heart so you can find each other again. I don't know how I ended up here though.

That must make it worse though, having no one who understands.

[He smiles] That sounds like a brilliant device, Van. [And this coming from someone who has lost so many friends through the centuries]

Oh it's not so bad. It keeps awkward moments down to a minimum. Most people are more impressed by the fact that I'm not human. [he chuckles]

Thanks! But you should talk to Aqua, she made them.

Not human?! [Ven looks very excited now.]

Aqua? That's a brilliant name! So... aquatic... [wow he should've thought that compliment through before he made it. Oh well.]

Nope. Not one bit. I'm a Time Lord.

Yeah. Aqua's great.

A Time Lord? A Lord of Time? Sounds amazing!

[hulloeverything]

[he chuckles] I can sense time more than lord over it, I assure you. [lies. Filthy lies.] I travel through time and space. It's quite brilliant, really.
