It simply can't do to have all these monsters run about. Not quite so many of them, at least.]

[It seems two of the monsters are overwhelming Mai's physical attacks so she lifts up her hand.]

[A wave of power emits all around Mai, knocking the monsters away. However the rest are coming up on her fast...]

[ -- and then Pearl comes skidding around the corner, already transformed as Sailor Seance. She pauses briefly to take in the scene - Danny off to the side nearby, and Mai close to being swarmed by monsters, and rushes into the fray. ]

Mai, look out! [ she lashes out at the ones nearest to her, knocking them away with her staff. ]

Thanks, Pearl. You made it just in time. [She kicks another monster just beside her.]
