I knew that moving to college would be stressful but I didn't expect it to be like that.

[ Aka hey, Quinn's now in her college dorm and her classes begin today. And she's posting on this instead of sleeping. Best college decisions ]

I love my mom but she was driving me crazy. I was getting neurotic enough about trying to pack and make sure I had everything from Yale and everything that I needed but I didn't know my mom was worse. I've never actually seen her like that.

[ And she sighs ] But it's done. I'm at Yale, in my room and my classes start today. I'm not exactly sure what to expect, or what anything's going to be like. I mean before summer I was a senior in high school and now I'm at college. I'm pretty sure I feel like I should still be at school, or something. I don't know. [ Welcome to the late night ramblings of Quinn's sleepy mind ]

I wouldn't say no to any tips, though. Or help. Somewhere to go? And 'what to do if you get lost' would definitely be appreciated. [ It'll happen, she knows it ]

And, believe it or not (because I don't) I've actually been here a year. The crazy rush of moving to college actually made me miss it. So that's one uneventful year, which I'm glad for - senior year had enough happening.

The choir room feels really empty.

It won't be for long. After Nationals someone will come and try and take Rachel's place.

Maybe I should take it.

I think that would be a nice change. [ And everyone needs to hear Sam sing more. And play guitar ]

Rachel's irreplaceable though.

[ Sam, you're making her blush ] I miss you guys. Finn mentioned about how he misses just sitting in the choir room and... I can't believe it's all gone. We'll never just sit there again, or hear Rachel just break out in to song.

We'd welcome you back anytime for a visit, you know. Whenever you get a break from college.

You know that I'll be coming back. [ And seeing you especially, because like best friend okay ] And you better let me know what's going on.

Do you want me to call in on your mom? [He imagines Quinn's mother is quite lonely without her.]

Are you sure? [ Wow, Sam. Super BFF ] I think she'd like that.

She could probably use someone to go to church with. [Sam and Quinn's mother had always gotten along so it was no problem.]

Thanks, Sam. And I'll let you know when I'm coming back.

I can't believe you're not around anymore.

I can't believe I actually miss McKinley. But I'll visit.

Yeah, I kinda miss it too. Hanging out in the choir room and that kinda thing, you know.

How are you settling in, though? Is it awesome?

I guess you can't really appreciate that until you don't have it. [ But she agrees. And she loves you guys, you helped her through tough times. Sitting in the choir room? Just nice ]

It's... I'm getting there. I don't know if I'll ever have time to unpack, though, my schedule looks busy. [ Although if it's really that bad... who knows. First day ]

Yeah. You just take stuff for granted.

Busy already? That sucks.

At least I'll get used to it quick? [ There's a tiny bit of hope there ] What about you? How's it out there?

Here? Oh, you know. Same old, same old. I've been pretty busy in the shop.

You'll probably be able to build a car by the time you're done there.

Have you seen much of anyone else? Kurt obvious, but Tina or Artie? [ Sam, especially. Britt too ]

I dunno, I think it'd take a few years to learn all that. I can still only do pretty simple stuff, and I have to have a supervisor.

Uh, no, not really. Sam's back ready for the new semester so we've hung out some, but Kurt's been working a lot too and I'm in the shop a lot. Doesn't really leave a whole lot of time for hanging out. [ pause ] Being a grown up kinda sucks.

You could still do it, and probably quicker. [ Take the faith, Finn ]

Yeah, it does. [ She's had to be so much more responsible now that she's not at home, even if she has been in some pretty crappy situations before. At least she had a permanent home ] How's Sam doing? [ Hey, he mentioned him ]
