[ Natsume's walking through what looks like a forest with an umbrella in his hand, his notebook that has access to the community in the other. He stops near a tree while it's still raining lightly and talks. ]

I just wanted to let everyone know that everything turned out okay. I guess I worried some of you with my last post...

[ There's a pause, then Natsume looks out around the rain. ]

It's Sunday here so I don't have school and I wanted to show everyone something that I saw the other day. It only happens when it rains and the sun comes out. It looked light enough that I think it should soon.

[ Natsume keeps standing there while the rain keeps drizzling lightly, looking a little disappointed that the sun hasn't come out yet. Seriously it must be like 6 in the morning. Natsume shrugs one of his shoulders like he's trying to brush something off (for those with spiritual abilities, they can see it's a little green youkai that looks like a frog with really long legs and a paper mask over his face and a straw hat that had hopped onto his shoulder just because it was there. To everyone else it probably looks like he was trying to shoo a small bug though. Still waiting, so Natsume speaks up again. ]

I guess while we wait, I'll ask a question. What kinds of places are your favorites to visit near where you live?

[ Almost as soon as he asks the question though, the rain seems to let up so Natsume looks up and closes his umbrella, glancing at a field behind some of the trees he's in between as he moves the camera to show the field. As the sun starts to come out, the whole field seems to slowly light up. ]

Touko-san and Shigeru-san have really given me a lot. [ He pauses, expression changing a little bit. ] And Nyanko-sensei, even if he's a jerk sometimes. [ From the name "Nyanko" it's probably obvious it's a cat. ]

What, spill it's droppings in your room or something? [Sounds like a cool cat to me.]

He eats everything and there's no way to keep him out of it, he can even open the fridge and get into locked cabinets, and [ come home drunk when he's trying to sleep, bitch at him all the time ] he steps on things, makes messes, and sleep-walks so I wake up with his tongue all over my face sometimes...

A sleepwalking cat?! (Talk about N*coN*co famous!!)

It's not as fun as it sounds, he's really fat so it's hard to breathe if he lays on top of you.

(A sleepwalking fat cat?! I don't think you know what you own!!)

It nearly sounds like he has a mind of his own...

[ That's the less amazing part of Nyanko-sensei.. ]

You could say that. At least he's never had bathroom issues.

Where'd you find something like that, huh? Stray?

Hm... I rescued him, I guess. [ Tripped over a seal and accidentally released him is more like it.. ]

With these trees out here, I can imagine a cat being stuck up there. Even fat cats. Guess it didn't have an owner either. That's pretty nice of you, uh...

[ That story sounds legit enough. Good job making it up, Kyon. Now Natsume doesn't have to come up with something or lie, he just has to not say that's wrong. ]

He still is pretty independent whether he lives with me or not.

[He likes to think he's just smart is all]

Still good company when alone.

...Or I'd like to think at least.

Sometimes. [ As long as he doesn't come home drunk, anyway...

Really, he likes Nyanko-sensei. They're friends. :T Just never admit it!! ]

Ever thought about eating it. I heard cat taste good fried in tempura.

I never would, but he'd be too fatty anyway. [ Also he talks and you never eat things that can talk to you that's just no. ]
