[The video turns on to show Tidus smiling easily and...playing some sort of gaming system. He puts the controller down, and leans forward a little.]

I've been so busy lately. I went on vacation with some of the others, and then we all had to attend the awards ceremony. It was a lot of fun, and we won three awards.

I still don't know if they're thinking of a sequel yet. I don't see how they would, the story's pretty much over. They're being vague about it, so for now rumors are just rumors. And that's fine with me. I'm thinking of trying for a more serious role before I end up getting typecast.

Do you think if I dyed my hair back, people would take me more seriously?

I guess it depends on where you are. I know here in Japan, blonde hair tends to be for the more... troublesome type of person. It's a sign of immaturity, because so many kids dye their hair to look cool.

["Kids", says the twenty year old with an entirely straight face.]

What's wrong with looking cool? But that's a good point, since I am in Japan right now. It's only blonde now because they wanted me to die it.

You don't look that old either, though. [he leans forward, as if trying to see her better.]

[That just makes him laugh.]

I'm not. But a lot of people view the desire to look cool as a childish thing that should be put aside. Like playing with dolls, or sleeping late.

Problem with that is it's harder to dye from black. For portfolio shots you might see about a good wig or getting your manager to get someone to do that computer color editing stuff, then dye it whatever color they want when you do land a role.

That might work. I'll have to talk to them about that!

Man, times like these really make you envy those guys in the stuff that don't go anywhere, huh? They don't get no closure, but once one of their seasons end, it's all "they have many more happy adventures" and sequels and...

Well, if they do do a sequel, won't it just be an entirely new story with new character and a new world with the name slapped onto to try to get fans of the previous one to play it again?

Isn't that one the tenth time the series the game was from did that?

They could make a sequel that takes place within the same universe. They've been talking about trying something new.

Maybe.

Though taking place in the same universe still doesn't necessarily mean using the same characters. If it did than my first show would still be having me in a regular role instead of crossover specials.

It's...more about establishing myself so that they can recognize the talent.

What's that kind of thinking? If someone with black hair auditions for a serious role and does a poorer job than you, do you really think they'll still cast him?
