So I found out what the monsters are called. Unversed. Not sure what they're trying to prove by attacking me but I'll hit them down whenever they do.

Weird thing happened when I did before. My keyblade shifted and it was like I wasn't in control or something? It was similar to when I try and borrow strength from Terra and Aqua but it felt different.

Guess it must just be the community playing tricks.

Yeah. You've never heard of them. [Some idiot?] Well I usually hold it differently but when I was fighting, it moved in my grip and attacked differently to usual. [Best explanation you're gonna get, Roxas.]

Nope. Just Heartless and Nobodies here. [ he frowns thoughtfully. ] That doesn't sound like the sort of thing the community would cause. What was that you were saying earlier, about sharing power?

Strange. [He adjusts the Wayfinder, trying to show Roxas the charm but realising he can't.] My Wayfinder isn't just my connection to the community. It's how me, Aqua and Terra keep our hearts connected. If we're in need, we can borrow strength from each other. We're linked, see?

Oh. [ huh... ] That sounds kinda... nice. So wait, you mean you can actually tap into their abilities and everything just through your connections to their hearts?

[glidingwind]

Yeah. For a limited period of time though. But it's really helpful when you need that little extra boost. But what are friends for, right?

I guess so. Honestly, I never knew something like that was even possible. Though I guess after everything Sora gets up to, I should've.

[ beat. ] Hey, do you think your Keyblade might've gone weird 'cause you linked with someone different by accident or something? [ is that even possible? ]

[glidingwind]

[Ven paused for a moment, thinking.]

Maybe? I don't know. But who else would I be able to link with around here?

[seasaltzombie]

[ he huffs a small laugh ] You're expecting me to know?

No. I'm Ventus.

I'm sorry. I didn't get a chance to tell you before. The Master says that these Unversed are created from negativity--not complete darkness, but a kind of fledgling emotion.

But what about your keyblade? That's never happened before.

[Ven's not sure what to make of that, but he'll remember it.]

No. It hasn't. I hope it's just the community and nothing something else wrong with me.

Or it could just be you getting stronger. The Master always says that the Keyblade holds many secrets, ones that even masters haven't figured out yet.

Maybe you should go home and ask the Master about it. He might know more.
