 This is definitely a good news bad news moment.  The good news?  I didn't get stuck with working on the haunted house this year.  The bad news?  Dad just decided this is the perfect night for family bonding via ghost-hunting.  

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the night pretending I'm not here.

Not without Dad getting upset. I guess I could fake a severe sudden illness, but they might decide its a ghost illness and put me through the Fenton centrifuge again to spin the ghost out of me.

Oh! Yeah, maybe you're right about that being a bad idea... That sounds like it could be more dangerous than actually having a ghost illness in the first place.

You've never met my Dad. He'll cause more damage by shooting and missing than any of the ghosts will do on purpose.

I don't know, actually. They're just kind of obsessed with it. I mean, they've been working on this stuff since before I was born.
