[Accidental Videos]

[It has been a long time since the community has seen Korra and it seems her video feed is messing up. At random, videos start popping up and then cutting out. Anyone watching the community now will get sporadic glimpses into what has been going on.]

[OOC: For anyone not in the know - this is Korra's canon update. As of this post she is now updated through the end of Book One.]


[The feed starts with flashes of a man in a mask. Anyone that Korra has talked to about bending should understand that Amon's aim is to destroy all benders - Korra included.]

[OOC: Disregard the bit at the end with the guys talking. The purpose of sharing this is to show what Amon has been up to.]

[Everything fads to black for a few moments before seeming to pull another feed from nowhere.]

[The feed ends abruptly. It is as if someone is changing the channels or reliving a dream they can only remember snippets of. It takes a long time before another video flashes on.]
Korra Airbends

[There is another long pause - longer than the previous ones. And then - ]

[Sometime later, the community sees Korra, on her own, contemplating the lights dancing in the night sky above her. It's been a long road. It is then that her trusty Probending Rule Book catches her eye. She gives it a wave.]

And you've been introduced to the community's favorite hobby: posting parts of your life without your consent. I supposed this makes you a real member now.

What do you mean?

[It has been such a long time since Korra has connected to the community. What have they seen? How much have they seen?]

Go and look at your post.

[Korra glances back up and is met with her own life staring her in the face. Whoa.]

That... was educational.

[It isn't that there is anything there she wants kept secret but the idea of having everything broadcast without her knowledge like it was is a little creepy.]

You should get used to it. It happens a lot here, and there's absolutely no way to stop it.

Oh. Um. Wow.

[The idea that someone like Azula could watch her at anytime was very unnerving.]

[embersandashes]

Exactly.

[hotheadedsavior]

Does it do this often?

[embersandashes]

Of course. I've lost count of the number of times I've been filmed without my consent.

Great. I have something to look forward to, then.

[all the sarcasm ever]

Exactly.

Korra, it really is you! I was wondering where you'd been--

... It looks like a lot of things have happened to you since we last spoke to each other, huh. Are you okay?

[hotheadedsavior]

[Now there's a voice Korra recognizes and is happy to hear again.]

Pearl!

[Korra pauses to think about her answer, pushing herself up into a sitting position.]

Yeah. I'm okay now. Just a little tired. How are you?

[ghostshippingly]

[ she nods. ] I'm glad you're alright. I've never been through anything like that, but I know how tiring it must be. At least you should be able to rest for a little while now though, right? Now that all the trouble's over?

Oh, but I'm fine, since you asked! I've mostly just been keeping up with my training and things like that. It's getting pretty cold up in the Medium Valley, though.

[hotheadedsavior]

I don't know if all the trouble is over. We still have to put everything back together again and try to fix the problems that caused the trouble to begin with.

[She sighs.]

But, for now, yes, I can rest a little. I hope, any ways.

Medium Valley? Where's that?

[ghostshippingly]

Oh... I guess that is true. I hadn't thought of that. [ she looks a little pensive. ] Problems never go away as quickly as you'd like them to.

Medium Valley is where my village is. It's in my world's California, near a city called Los Angeles.
