A Surprise Marriage Between Shrine Maiden and Princess (pretend I posted this a week ago)
[basically this is an article from her newspaper, the Bunbunmaru, that Aya decided to share with the community. all text, yo.]
Season XX, Day XX of XX Month
An unexpected marriage between an unexpected couple! Certainly the most bizarre scoop of the season! I've been reporting on nothing but everyday things and the rare incident now and then, so this was a very refreshing turn of events.

[PRETEND IT'S AN ACTUAL PHOTO OK THANKS ;u;b]
I was graciously invited to this joyous occasion by the newlywed spouses themselves. And how could I refuse to attend such an event? The ceremony took place at Hakurei Shrine and many youkai from all over attended. But because of the high turnout of youkai, I didn't see anybody from the Human Village.
Who would ever guess that Reimu Hakurei and Kaguya Houraisan were to be joined in holy matrimony? I certainly wouldn't have. And neither did anyone else in Gensokyo. When asked about her feelings on the wedding, Marisa Kirisame, one of the maids of honor and Reimu's best friend, responded with:
"What the hell's this?! Is Reimu possessed by an evil spirit?! And who's that chick she's marrying supposed to be, hah? This whole thing reeks if ya ask me."
Admittedly she had a point. Even I couldn't believe my ears when the news of the wedding ceremony reached Youkai Mountain. [and because this was published throughout Gensokyo, there's no mention of the community or its viruses.] But what a party it was! Many prominent youkai were in attendance, including Yukari Yakumo and Yuuka Kazami. How scary! There were several faerie casualties before the short-lived brawl was put to an end by Reimu with some assistance from the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. I was able to get some great shots of the fight that took place after the ceremony.
"I've never met the woman Reimu-san is marrying. In fact, I've never seen her before at all," Sakuya Izayoi confessed while wiping the blade of one of her knives. "But Reimu-san's relationships are really none of my business. The fact that she is getting married at all is rather baffling, but I don't believe I have any right to judge. I wish them a partnership full of prosperity and happiness."
The brides were indeed glowing with happiness as they danced together, practically emanating passion. Anyone could tell they were deeply in love. I'm not used to writing about romantic events like this, so this is all unfamiliar territory for me. The sake and food were wonderful, at least.
[aaaaaand assume there's a lengthy interview here with Reimu and Kaguya gushing about their wedding and stuff.]
I was lucky enough to corner Yukari Yakumo herself for a quick interview. Honestly, I suspected she had a hand in this sudden marriage, but even when she answered my questions I couldn't tell if she was being honest or not. I dislike that sort of attitude. She seemed more interested in asking me to become her shikigami so I won't include her vague answers.
We Tengu are ecstatic to have been able to partake in spreading the news of the marriage throughout Gensokyo. May Reimu and Kaguya have many years of happiness ahead of them!

I can't take back what's already been published, Kaguya-san. It wouldn't be good for my newspaper's reputation if I did something like that.
