An annoucement from an easily annoyed grad student TA

To all students in my Tuesday and Thursday afternoon history class,

A reminder that you will have an exam on the Crusades this Thursday. The exam is in essay format, so please remember to bring an essay booklet, as I will no longer be bringing spars, considering what happened last exam when over half the class didn't bring any.

This exam will count for a good portion of your final grade, so it would be wise to be prepared. Unless you are in the hospital dying, or a similar emergency, there will be no make-up date, so be there. And no, bribing me will not get you a better grade either. It did not work last time, so it will certainly not work this time.

How long will we have for the exam, professor?

I'm not exact a professor since I'm still a grad student.

Just over an hour. The same amount of time that is in a normal class session. It's only five essay questions but I am expecting some details in your answers.

Have you ever had students try to bribe you before?

of course. they try sweets all the time until they find out i can cook better than they do.

I am not that fortunate to be that good of a cook. Most of them probably do cook better than I. Though, I just get twenties slipped into their test booklets.

money would be a nice change. i just got a phone number a few days ago.

I don't know. I think you would have a better success of proving String Theory than teaching me how to cook.

I've gotten those too. It makes me wonder if our students are really paying attention in class.

Makes me glad that I am not required to wear a skirt while I teach.

Fine... I have a spar book you can borrow for the rest of the semester.

That or there's a clone of him around.

How worn out is it? [Because his book was new and PRISTINE and he's a poor student that cant' afford a new one.]

Considering some of the biology professors here, that would not surprise me.

[Arthur changes the post to video. His face looks as if he's seen better days, but don't pay attention to the injuries. He looks on his bag and after a few minutes he's holding a half chewed book in front of the camera. There's pages missing, the covers is torn and the rest of the book is scratched]
