Hello everyone!

[Roze appears on camera, holding up a poster.]

The bake sale will be happening soon so I just wanted remind the people who had seen the posters and inform those who haven’t. It will be happening Sunday and we will be opening at 10. If anybody wants to donate, it would really be appreciated and everything we make will go to the shelter.

[At the intersection where the main outlet of campus lets into downtown, a sign proclaims at the corner BAKE SALE. All proceeds benefit the shelter.. Young women with smiling faces sit behind a table lined with every kind of sweet imaginable. When you approach, one of them asks,]

[Aqua raced over, still wearing her backpack and...her kendo club uniform. Look who had fallen asleep after practice the night before and hadn't had time to change before her first class. Or her second. Or the bake sale.]

Sorry I'm late!

[Kasumi laughs a little in surprise at her sudden entrance.]

That's all right. Thanks for coming!

I fell asleep right after practice. Had to rush in the shower and wear the only thing I had available if I was going to make my first class.

Oh, then you must be tired. [pats the chair next to her] Take a seat.

Thank you. [She sat carefully. She knew she was going to collapse into another dead sleep that night too.]

I did manage to remember these. [And she holds up a plastic bag she'd been guarding with her life since running out of the dorm.] Cheesecake bites.

Oh, those will be popular, I think. [She clears a place for them, moving the cupcake pans over, and sets them near the center of the table.]

How was practice?

It went pretty well, though I hope that people are going to learn better about not leaving their equipment everywhere.

It would seem like a tripping hazard if they don't.

I'm glad you came.

Oh, did you have practice?

Yes, and I fell asleep right after. I took my shower so fast I forgot to grab cleaner clothes. By then, I had to run to class.

Are you sure you don't need to rest then? I'm glad you came out but you shouldn't risk working yourself too much and getting sick.

I'll be okay. Class is over for the day, and I've got only afternoon ones tomorrow.

How did it go?

Both practice and class went by fine. Though I do need to finish up The Red Badge of Courage for Professor Von Strangle's class Thursday.

We'll have enough sugar to help keep you awake.

[She shakes her head.]

Mm, not right now.

If you're worried about the sugar, you practice enough to work it off.

I'd feel a little weird eating on the job.

[She laughs.]

Don't. Most of us have already bought at least one.

All right. [She pulled out some money from her backpack.] I'll take one of the coconut cupcakes.

[One coming right up. Roze'll would just pay the dollar and get one herself.]

Since I talked you into this, the first is on me.

Thanks. But coffee later is on me.
