So the holidays are coming up. Does anybody have plans for the break? I'm still debating how long I want to actually stick around at home. Maybe a week or two. I think I'd like to go somewhere for once, though I'm not sure where.

Mine does. And I wish he'd stop doing so.

Yeah, but even if he doesn't, it's your life. Not like he can make those kind of choices for you, right?

I wish. He's got at least a couple of my professors keeping an eye on me, watching so that I don't do anythign to 'disgrace the family'.

He must have some serious pull around here then.

He contributed to the development of the sports teams here, with donations and funding. And hosts functions for the faculty.

Suddenly I am really glad my dad has nothing to do with the school.
