So, this really does connect to other worlds, does it? I knew there were more out there, but I never imagined that there would be so many. And you all travel without Dimensional ÄRM... It's incredible. If we had known about this sooner—

[ he cuts himself off, biting back on whatever he was going to say, and he shakes his head. ]

It doesn't matter. That's in the past.

I'm interested in two things. Firstly, I want to know if any of you have heard of a particular world. It's called Earth; I don't know the details beyond that. I just know that it exists, and it's accessible.

Secondly, I'd like to see if anyone capable of travelling between dimensions can get to this world. I don't know if it's possible... but I have to try. [ he closes his eyes and leans his head back against the tree behind him. ] This is MÄR Heaven. And if anyone at all can reach it, you might just be able to save this entire world.

So, we can still connect to it. That's a relief.

[ he nods. ] It isn't immediate, but there's a war coming, and I'm doubtful that we have the men we need to fight it. I don't plan on giving up easy, but having help from another world... Let's say that it's worked well for us in the past.

[He frowns] there are never enough for any war... Nor is it possible for any war to have a happy ending...

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry but I don't know if I can help you...

We survived the previous war. I'm not about to let MÄR fall to this one, with or without the assistance of outsiders. But we might be able to call in at least one.

Since I already found someone that does, I can at least be sure that it's still out there. That means you come from another world entirely, though, which is just as interesting.

Welcome. I believe the majority of people here live on various versions of the planet Earth, or such is the impression I have formed. May I ask what your interest in it is?

As for your second request, I am afraid I cannot help you personally, but I wish you luck in finding someone who can. Is your world in so much danger?

Very soon, I'll be bringing a stranger from Earth to this world. It's good to hear that we can still connect to it.

And as for the second... [ he nods gravely. ] I'm afraid that it is. We're facing a war that almost destroyed this land in the past - and we have less than half the men we had at that time.

It must be, in such a situation. Though I should warn you that the Earths here tend to differ from one another in ways ranging from the subtle to the drastic. There is a high chance that your own world's Earth is not any of those found here.

I am sorry to hear that. My own country faced the threat and reality of war for all of my life; I would not wish those circumstances on anyone else.

If there are multiple Earths, then I don't know that we'd even connect to the same one every time. The Gatekeeper Clown is a total mystery to me.

[ he's never been sure how common war is in other worlds; boss never talked about it. but it doesn't surprise him that it's just as bad outside of mär. ] ... I can sympathise. I was a child during the first war, and I grew up preparing for this second one. But I intend to put a stop to it now. Hopefully, I'll never have to say that all my life was consumed by war.

If you do not know of the Earth, I am sure there are many a textbook that can inform you of all you wish to know about it, and then some. Although, I could not imagine why you would want to learn more of it, for there are surely other worlds with more interesting planets.

No matter how interesting other worlds or planets might be, it's only Earth that I need. I don't have much of a choice in the matter.

The only thing wrong with MÄR is the people that are trying to destroy it. [ he says it very strongly. there is nothing he loves as much as his world. ] No, I need Earth to help save this world. I'm going to summon whatever strength it can lend us.
