Stepping Stones - Video

[The video consists of Hayate in a park today. She has a determined expression on her face as she braces herself on the railing next to herself. Slowly, very slowly she starts pulling herself out of the chair.

Careful... careful...! And carefully she pulled herself to a standing position, clutching onto the railing for dear life. She almost squeaks and falls over, but holds on, her knees shaking.

And one by one, she started taking steps. The force of the Star Rod was keeping her upright as she started to walk, very, very slowly step by step.]

Almost... got it...!

[Hayate was groaning as she tried to continue to walk and with a squeak she toppled over. A nameless guy came by and helped her back up and she nodded at him, passing a few words as she climbed to her feet again, legs shaking.]

I gotta get better... or I'll waste Rita-oneechan's gift... and Bowser-oniichan's gift too...!

[And carefully she takes another step. And another...]

[It's so awesome because Hayate's good with practically anything!]

Okay, see you then!

[And she'll head off soon enough, and return home. The camera view changes so that it's broadcasting from the TV now.]

Mmm! I'm completely prepared! Let's do this! [And Hayate'll ease herself out of her wheelchair and into the couch.]

[ Kobato sets up her screen so it's focused on the video and streaming, rather than on her. She starts the DVD. There's a girl who looks... oddly.. like Kobato on the DVD menu.

The point at which it is revealed that Kobato is definitely a fangirl is nigh. ]

I shall begin the oracle! Kuuukuku~ [ And she presses play. ]

[Watching the opening, Hayate found herself humming to the beginning of it as she decides, hey, she really likes this! Kobato's dress looks really good too, she could totally make one as well.]

[ And so they embark on watching an anime about a vampire girl with superpowers and magic that fights a magical girl except the main character is the vampire?? And there's a fighting game for it too but Kobato doesn't have it...

Of course, after the first episode is over, Kobato interrupts because she has to know. ]

It's so awesome! I love it! It's more thrilling than most of the stuff I've watched in my time. [Cause there isn't really a Toei in her world and most of the things she watches are videos of idol singers.]

Is there any more of it?
