[It was little hassle for Bazett to punch away each of the clowns, but it was annoying seeing as how they kept coming after her. Supposedly, the best way to fight them off would be to team with another as either a "Meister" or "Weapon", but she had yet to find a partner. She would welcome this ad, if not for her concern for the sender.]

[ it's harder to be cautious of him when she isn't talking to him face-to-face, because she forgets what had been so dangerous about him. he has no presence in text. but that response reminds her that she had decided to play it safe with this guy, and to win his favour rather than his ire if possible.

the advantage of text is that it's easier to calm herself down, and he can't rile her up while she's doing so. she has to play him, even if he knows he's being played. this guy has an ego, so the easiest way to diffuse the situation is flattery, right? the subtler sort, so that even if he sees what she's doing, it won't offend. something that quietly lets him know she's taking him seriously, behind all her vulgarity and threats. ]
