I've never been to a resort before, but it was pretty fun. Thanks again for those who filled me in on what was going on and helped me out. I would've become an icicle if it weren't for you guys.

But I've got a question for you all. What exactly do you consider "normal" in your world? I'm a bit curious since everyone's places are different, right? So I'm pretty sure that everyone's definitions of normal are gonna be different, too.

Normal, huh? Well, things are usually peaceful, but there's a monster attack once a week. So monsters seem pretty normal by now.

Yes, every week. And there are people fighting against them, which is why I can say things are usually peaceful. Though how effective those people are... varies, to say the least.

If the kidnapping, prying behind this thing are cruel, at least the people seem to be good. They helped both of us strangers out in a pinch.

Sheesh... That sounds like it's the general response that I'm getting so far!

[ He guesses he should go with the normal for the majority of people in his world. Not that he would want to bring up his personal 'normal.' ]

People go to school or work, go fishing, and spend time with friends and family. There are good people and bad people, people who stick to religion and people who go to things like acting... There's a lot of variety, it's kind of hard to say anything in particular is "normal" for any one person. I guess the only thing that really stands out is that I live pretty close to nature.

I used to live on an island for a while, so I can understand how it feels to be near nature. But it's kinda admirable that people can do that while not knowing what's really going on around them.

For me, the year is 2011. I live in the city of Mitakihara; Japan. Computers, the internet, smartphones; all such things exist. Magic, for the most part, does not, to the knowledge of the general population.
