If you can you could always try making it. But I think giving storebought isn't a bad idea either if you're not good at cooking, or never tried making chocolate before.

Oh, I like cooking so that wouldn't be the problem. I'll have to see what I have available.

That's good then. I'm a little poor at it, so I'm giving the boys the store-bought obligation chocolates as well. Although I think I might attempt at making some.

It's difficult to make? I don't think I'd actually be able to buy him anything.

Well you need some roasted cocoa beans first, and a coffee grinder, and a whole lot of stuff. It's a little involved but not bad.

You might want to consider making your plans a day early or a day late. The community usually launches a virus on Valentine's Day.

[She remembers her first Valentine's Day with the community. It was pleasant while it lasted, but the aftermath was confusing and ldsfjwefomesfffffffff. And some of the ones that followed were worse... whether for her or just what she saw.]

Oh... I'd forgotten about that. I'll have to wait until after. It'll give me more time to prepare.

[She doesn't want to get caught by something like that]

I'd offer ideas, but the only two Valentine's Days I did anything, it was because of a virus. The most recent one for me was a blind date. [The deadpan tone suggests that it sucked. Because it did.] But my first one... [She pauses for a moment, a sad smile appearing as she remembers back to that February. Only a month and a half after deciding to stay and travel with the Doctor. Ah, sweet nostalgia~]

My virused date took me to a botanical garden on his world. It was nice... and so was Mori. I'm glad we stayed friends after.

Oh... the blind date wasn't good?

[She smiles] That one sounds nice.

[Darn being stuck in space. It's ruining anything cute they could do]

Not really. He was so strange.

[She shakes her head to clear out the mental image of her dinner with Kefka. In its place, she goes back to thinking about that time with Mori and all the fun times she had with him. How she missed him....]

It was... I hope I never forget that day for as long as I live.

[Wait a second. Duh. She can't believe she forgot one of the good sides to the community.]

I know we don't have a lot of date-worthy places on the Ptolemaios, but maybe you could ask someone from the community for a world hop. Or if we aren't engaged in combat, you could take a day or two to go down to the planet's surface. We have enough support with the Meisters and mechanics if something does happen.

[Oh dear... Kefka. Anew's talked to him before. That would worry her]

Are you sure? I don't want to leave you empty-handed since then you'd be down a Meister and a mechanic.

LOL yeah. 50% of valentine's day is 'forever alone' and crying into their wine and vodka mixes, the other 50% is sexy times (with wine and all that)

I think most people get bitter when they don't have 'someone to love them' so instead of looking into their own self as to WHY they blame everyone around them for being in love. Pretty petty if you ask me.

Never? Not even a little crush? Well I can't say if you're missing out or not, but it's strange to hear comin' from a girl.. I don't think you can do anything wrong on a day that's about your heart if that's where it's comin' from.

That does sound a little petty. I know they may not have someone, but that doesn't mean they should be mad at others for it.

The most special thing personally that I could ask for, is just a day with that special someone! And maybe a small exchange of something that makes you think of that person! A small simple token of love, homemade or store bought is always cute!

If it comes from your heart, it would most definitely work! Anything (I think) that you put your thoughts and heart into is what it's all about! Personal time and cake? Perfection is what it seems to me.

Maybe you can incorporate all the little important things you've done together as a couple from when you started to now! Something to make it a little extra special? Little things you've learned that you think he wouldn't really think someone would remember?
