Things just got more complicated around here. My roommate got arrested, and apparently we're the only ones around who can take care of him. His coworkers recommended a lawyer, but he's a lot more than I can afford.

They say he kidnapped his coworker for ransom. I can't give a good alibi for him, and I can't get enough privacy to ask him what really happened.

The police think he kidnapped and ransommed one of his coworkers. Best alibi I can give is that he was snoring at the time they think the kidnapping happened, but since I eventually fell asleep, it's hardly convincing.

Oh no... that's bad. That's really bad...

This might sound awful, but... couldn't you make some kind of distraction to get some time to talk to him alone? Not something terrible, but if you could find out what really happened, that's more important, right?

The best thing to do would be to try to talk to him through the Mirror World, but as long as his deck is in evidence, he won't be able to see or hear me there.

It's a deck of cards that let us transform and summon weapons and attacks. But it also lets us see and hear anything in the Mirror World. Without it, we're just like anyone else and can't protect ourselves in case of an attack.

Ah, so it kind of works like a Soul Gem? I think I understand...

What if you could get his deck out of the evidence somehow? I mean - I know that you're not really supposed to interfere with police work like that, and that it's against the law, but... if monsters or something like that were involved, then it's not something the police could really handle, is it? And at least then you'd be able to hear your friend's side of the story...
