It's pretty durable, easy to use, and it's meant to be for people on the go. You'll need an AC charger to plug it into the wall but the battery life, provided you're not watching movies is upwards of 12 to 15 hours at a time.
Any store that has electronics in a regular Earth-based world will have it. You can probably also ask someone to buy it for you and bring it, if they have a worldhop.
Once in a while. A acquaintance of mine swears by apple products so he was more than happy to give up the one I gave to a friend last time. So he could buy the newest one.
I could get you any kind of communication device you'd like...computer, laptop, and touch-screen devices. Though I'd question it's compatibility with your world since some worlds have yet to be tech friendly.
There's that...and the internet, though I suppose you'll automatically be connected to DDD's brand of internet no matter what. If you're okay with that then tell me what your needs are and I'll see what I can do for you.
Depends on what model you want, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Retina Display is probably what you're after. It can cost over 900 dollars.
