A discarded mirror lays upright against a tree with a blue wagon nearby, which would probably be why those of the Duck are able to see Central Park, or at least what would be recognizable as Central Park if it weren't for the flowers, flowers everywhere.

Suddenly, a midget wearing funny clothes and an upright hairdo comes onscreen. Walking with him is an entourage of flowers.

I heard that Gus has read Rosie a bedtime story!

*One of the flowers, a daisy, responds*

Big deal, Stanley. People tell each other stories all the time!

Oh but you see, this is the first time Gus has ever read Rosie a story! He told me so.

No, heehee! Gus' wagon is red! Besides, he wouldn't leave his things behind. He has come to visit quite a few times already, and he has never had to ask me about things he lost in there.

I'm afraid we're not actual ducks. Most of us are human, though there are many here who aren't as well. Think of it as a connection between worlds, like if you were talking to someone on Earth from the Fairy Kingdom.
