[The sound of gunshots can be heard from a familiar gun on the community as the camera can't seem to get a fix on the person in question. It seems chaotic, like he's moving rapidly.

For a moment the world blurs around the screen before something is clearly shown on the screen. A wanted poster.]

I need to get out of here... I'm not ready to handle this...! Anywhere but here...!

[Another gunshot rang out, and the camera blurs as a the person stumbles, and Kaitou's shoes are seen. It's clear that he has stumbled back into his own world, and the camera is seeing from his own eyes as the world twists around him, and he collapses in another world.]

That does make it interesting then. Orbital elevators you say?

On our world, we are mostly out of fossil fuels like oil so our world has moved to solar energy. There are three towers in the world and they hold up the orbital ring, which is essentially a series of solar panels. Inside the towers are trains that run from Earth to the top.

That makes sense. Solar energy especially in space would give you a near-unlimited amount of energy when you need it.

It does. It's ever effective... for the most part. It's a fragile system that supports it.

I'm sure it has some problems though.

It does. Is there anything like that on this world?

[of_many_treasures]

My world... runs on traditional fuels, but the technology is akin to 1940.

[a_new_innovator]

[She considers that for a moment then nods] That makes sense. A lot of worlds are from different times.

Well, the truth is, it's about 2009 in my world. Circumstances happened that kept my world from progressing.

[a_new_innovator]

Really? Interesting. I suppose simple changes to one thing or another in a worlds could prevent it from following a similar path as another world.

You could say that. My world's progress is hampered, deliberately by a entity calling itself Fourteen. We haven't managed to defeat him yet.

[a_new_innovator]

That's the reason they shot you? Because of this being?

Yes, because everyone is under Fourteen's control in that world, save for a few.

[a_new_innovator]

Well, hopefully you are able to do that soon.

That's the whole reason why I have Rider powers actually. To save my world.

That's true. And I'm feeling better now, if a little sore.

Do you need anything else for the pain? As the numbing wears off it will start to hurt more.

Something along the lines of Advil or Tylenol 3 would be nice. If you can get it.

[And she comes prepared! She pulls out another bottle of medication, not either of those brands but it is essentially the same] This should help.

That's appreciated. There's cups in the top cupboard. I'll need some water to get this down if you don't mind.

Of course. [She smiles and gets up, walking over the cupboard to get the cup for him. After getting the cup, she gets some water and brings it back over him]
