Accidental Video

[You see Hayate trying to reach something in her house. It's pretty high up and apparently one of her housemates forgot they had to put the cooking things at low levels.]

Hnnngh... it's... too high up... I wish I could get it!

[There was a brief flicker of something pink and then, a pink... thing, reaches up from off screen and wraps around the pot before it brings it down and hands it to Hayate.

Hayate blinks at it, and looks at the object off screen.] Did you do this? [Several more tentacles moved into view and soon, Hayate was giggling as she seemingly manipulated these tendrils everywhere, getting things.]

This is so much fun! I never knew I could summon tentacles! What an easy thing to do!

They really are! And they're so useful.

For picking up things, silly! I'm in a wheelchair so I can't reach the top cupboards.

[he stops-...]

A...a wheelchair? Well, that's good you have something to help you! But you know, if you do need help and don't want to rely on those tentacles, I'll help you out too!

You really think so? I could use a lot of help. My family are out at all points of the day so I couldn't say when they'd be back.

[chestboard]

...Your family... isn't around for you either?

That doesn't sit well with me, not well at all, if you ask me- I would want to be with you at all times if I were your family, to keep an eye on you. It frustrates me, a little, so... yeah, if you want help, just tell me.

Oh they're just out at the moment, running errands. They'll be back for supper tonight which I'm doing. They just forgot to put the pots on the bottom shelf.

[Running errands? More like beating up large vicious animals for magic.]

Ah.... whew, that was close too close! For a second I thought they left you, and I would have gone over there to take care of you myself!

Oh no! They wouldn't do that at all!

That's good, had me worried for a bit there! You should never be alone!

That's quite all right. They're really devoted to me, and I love them a lot.

[chestboard]

That's good, that kind of love is good!

They're wonderful people, I love them.

I would like to even meet them sometime! I'm a great guy to bring home to the parents!

Well see! They're good people, just protective of me. Because they moved to Japan to be with me after all.

You were apart before?

[lil_tanuki]

They were living in Germany before I was orphaned. So while they were looking for my family, I was living by myself.

[chestboard]

...Orphaned? So I see... that's how it is.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you remember such a time.

It's okay. My mom and dad were good people, and they left me a huge house and savings to live on.

And I have my family now.

[chestboard]

Jeez... to top it all off, you're even rich now!

But... that's kind of overrated, trust me.

I don't mind it, it allowed me to add a few things to my house at least like a wheelchair ramp when I fell ill.

Well, yeah stuff like that is great!
