[The video is kind of crappy, almost like it's surveillance footage. What might give that impression? The robot monkeys getting shot through with arrows outside of a prestigious high school.

If you got to see Artemis's archery skills during the zombie attack, then you might notice the skills used by a masked girl in a green costume familiar. Also, the face might look familiar, like when she realizes that yes, this is broadcasting, and looks over at the camera.]

Go! Go away!

[Another monkey comes at her, and she drops it with another arrow.]

Uhh...this count as later? You're a hero but what the hell are you fighting?

Robot monkeys. I have no idea why either. But there was a cute guy in danger, so...

[notmynature]

Yeah, I actually guessed robot monkeys and then I sounded crazy in my own head so I had to ask.

I dunno, the monkeys looked like of cute. They'd never blend in with the real ones, though.

...Okay, they're cool even if they didn't look like the real ones. Uh..besides attacking you. That part wasn't cool.

Yeah, the whole trying to kill me thing was the last straw for them. Too bad the video didn't get a good shot of that guy, though.

We're still talking about the cute guy? [She laughs and shakes her head.] You just saw robot monkeys! That's so much cooler than a guy.

Trade ya. I'll find a cute guy for the robot monkey. [She's joking but she's pretty amazed, too.]

Hey, he was that cute. I'll save the next robot monkey for you, though.

Does it need batteries? How many guys would I have to trade for those?

[archerartemis]

Don't know, to be honest. I'll have to see where I can find another one.

Hey, I wasn't serious. Yeah, having a robot monkey would be the coolest thing in the world but they attacked you.

[archerartemis]

Yeah, but if there's all that advanced technology, it still might be worth something. If I can get some scrap out of it or something.

[notmynature]

Hey, good idea! [Ellie knows about scraping.] You might be able to find something you can use around there! If they have robot monkeys, they'd have to have other cool stuff!

[archerartemis]

Maybe. I'll have to keep looking around.

[notmynature]

[She's used to looking for stuff she could use as opposed to selling it but she's all for scavenging.]

So... your world's like that, too?

[archerartemis]

Not as much, but when you live this close to the slums, pretty much everyone's scavenging what they can. Plus, if I'm going to keep up this whole vigilante thing, I need to replentish my supplies somehow. And this metal's tough enough to make some pretty good arrowheads.

[notmynature]

Yeah, that was some really sweet shooting but if you shot through the monkeys with your arrows, aren't they stronger than the stuff the monkey's made from?

[archerartemis]

Only got through joints and everything. Still, even if the metal's not as good as I thought it was, it's something more to work with.

So, if there's no money in it, why do you do it? Being a hero and all that?

[archerartemis]

Guess I wanted to try and make a difference in my life. Prove to myself that I don't have to end up on a dead-end street.

[notmynature]

Is it working? [She doesn't really get why you're a hero or headed for a dead end street but it sounds pretty heavy.]
