Because it would be inconvenient, not to mention uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to wear them while sleeping, for example.

That's never been an issue for me. They're always in the same place every morning and if for some reason they aren't, I do have a spare pair.

You're lucky I don't wear contacts. Those are a lot trickier to work with.

Small, thin lenses that you have to apply directly to your eyes. They can end up irritating your eyes if you're not careful with them. And if you lose them, they're nearly impossible to find, since they're small and barely visible.
