My family have all been sticking to regular phones, though. They don't see that much use in cell phones. [And they are slightly technologically backwards.]

I think I'd like to get a cell phone eventually, but I can understand wanting to use a regular phone. I see people with cell phones sometimes and they don't pay attention to anything around them.. I can't imagine doing that.

The people of MÄR keep to themselves, mostly. An adventurous person is probably more likely to have Andarta, for teleportation, which eliminates the need for communication ÄRM.
