Feeling homesick

It's been quite awhile since I left my hometown.

And I've been feeling terrible lately, especially after those stupid sleepless nights.

I think I need a distraction.

I wonder if the community understand what I feel? Have any of you ever left your home for a long time, not knowing if you can ever come back?

I'm living in Kanon Town right now. It's a beautiful place which is famous as the city of music.

Yes. I have been a wanderer for ten years now, but before that, I did not have a single place to stay since I was a young child. My master took me traveling to train in swordsmanship.

Actually, I don't feel that good staying at my hometown, either. There's something missing there, you see... the very thing that makes it feel like home.

But yeah, I do have to leave my hometown for a reason and it makes me feel terrible all the time.
