Ciao everyone! Halloween is coming almost here and I wanted to show you the costume I picked out. Some classmates of mine are having a party...and I'm going!

[She grins broadly before stepping away. The full view reveals that Izumi is wearing a costume. She spins, causing the skirt to twirl. She laughs giddily and winks at the camera.]

So, what do you think? It's my first time going to a party with my classmates, so I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Oh, right. I forgot people in other places could do that.

[even though it's been months and months since she first became a member, Clove still-- almost unconsciously-- dances around some issues; she says "in other places", not "on other worlds"]

How does it work? Does your TV turn on when it's time for the show to broadcast?

Oh, no. You turn it on whenever you want to watch something. You need to turn it on at the right time for certain shows, though.

You mean you get to pick?

[fairyofwind]

Of course! Don't you?

[rocked]

No. Our TVs are run by the Capitol.

[fairyofwind]

The Capitol? Like the capitol of your country?

[rocked]

Right. They're the ones in charge of everything.

[fairyofwind]

Like, everything everything?

[rocked]

Sure. They're the government.

[fairyofwind]

But that's...the just seems wrong. A government shouldn't be able to control everything.

[rocked]

Why not?

[fairyofwind]

Because people should be able to make their own choices about things, like what they watch on TV.

[rocked]

I don't mind it, and that's the thing that matters.

[fairyofwind]

You really don't mind it? At all?

[rocked]

Are you trying to get me to say I do?

[fairyofwind]

I guess not. I just know if it were me, I wouldn't like it at all.

[rocked]

For all I know people from the Capitol could be reading this.

[fairyofwind]

You think they're that powerful? The community usually can't be seen by anyone it doesn't bring in.

[rocked]

So? It could bring them in.

[fairyofwind]

But we'd know.

At least, I think we would.
