I'm sorry it's been several days, community! Schoolwork is keeping me dreadfully busy-- not that I'm complaining, of course. But I just had to come and talk about something strange that's happened. Harry and Ron don't remember this place at all! I know this happens sometimes when people leave, but they didn't forget right away, only just now. Has this happened to anybody else's friends?

Isn't it easy to figure out? The community's always been whimsical, this is just another one of those times.

Nothing here is really easy to figure out, is it? Of course, that doesn't mean it's impossible. You just have to ask a lot of questions, like I'm doing now.

It's easy enough as long as you just assume the community does what it wants. That's the main rule.

But wouldn't you rather figure out why?

[entreats]

[ She has to think for a moment at it, really. Part of her is curious - or maybe it's better to say was curious. Didn't she already give up on everything, then what does the community matter? ]

There's enough whimsical forces out there in the world. Why investigate this one?

Because we have better things to do than waste our time on that? Seems like a logical answer to me.

Learning isn't a waste of time.

[entreats]

When your time is running out, it sure is. Not like you'll still have time to apply it.

Well, you can still learn for the fun of it, but--

Sort of. It's a long story. So let's just suppose I am.

Nothing you have to apologize for. I mean, you don't even know me.

[ And it's more because of herself than because of anyone else, so apologies are the last thing she deserves and she knows it. ]

It's awful all the same.

People die all the time though. It's just a part of life.

Of course, but it's still sad.

[entreats]

I think that if you're just going to stop and think about all the things in life that are sad, you'll probably never finish with it. So it's better to just accept it and deal with it one way or another.
