Well I logged in on launch day, and got trapped there by a mad programmer who keeps us from being able to physically remove our headsets or log out. Doing so without beating the game is supposed to kill people, sending them into unrecoverable comas.

Okay, I've seen some messed up things, but that takes the cake.

It's not a picnic for everyone else either. Respawn is off, if you die in the game you die in real life, it's like a bad novel at times with all of these player-triggered death traps in the dungeons.

I'm trying to make the most of it, rejoined a guild and working to protect a few people I know.

According to the news that I've accessed on my world, it's a top priority. But it's going on seven or eight months now.

It's been tough but I've learned a lot going through this situation. Mostly how to play with other people better and protect them.

Yeah, but are you guys anywhere close to beating the game?

We're on floor 55. There hasn't been progress recently, since we're having trouble finding the dungeon entrance for the floor.

How many floors are there?

There's 100. But the bosses are getting tougher and tougher. And some people have stopped progressing altogether and began living instead on the various cleared floors.

I wish I could help, but my friend Caleb's the expert in fighting against that kind of thing, and even he's been going at it for a long time.

Yeah, still new to this whole thing. But the power must be passed on or something like that.
