Do the others have super strength too? Or do they just have the elemental stuff instead? Because if it's the first one, that's really not fair to you.

Well, to some degree, I think? But it mostly seems like just the elements for them.

Okay. That's good, at least. You really shouldn't worry about feeling like you're holding your friends back then.

After all, there's probably going to be times when they're defending from elemental attacks just fine but you can go up to them and just knock them out with a punch.

Believe me, I would love to do that to some of our enemies. And one of our friends once in a while.

As long as you hit whoever you're kicking from high enough and fast enough, anyway. But you're right, if you have flight, that's not going to be too hard.

[ Sure, most martial arts strikes were stronger with the proper stance on the ground, but this was involving magic. So the rules were different. And even then, flying down fast enough should make up for being in the air in the first place. ]

That's not even the half of it. Apparently, he's the #2 guy to the big bad guy, Prince Phobos.

It was more of a total accident? See, Cedric was chasing Caleb, who's the leader of the Rebellion on Meridian. He captured him, but then found out that we existed, so he let Phobos know, and Phobos told him to capture me, and he did, but they didn't get their hands on the Heart, so the others were able to find me and rescue both me and Caleb, and...yeah.

Still, the fact that you're even going up against the person who's the second in command of your enemy's forces is really worrying. Especially if you've just started fighting against them.

Usually they send out the weaker opponents first...
