So, I'll just but this little attention-grabber out there were everyone can see it. Who wants to be part of a jailbreak?

I've been unjustly locked up in a prison for a long time, and I think it's about time I got out. I already asked that Kefka character to do it, but for a self-proclaimed god, he bounced rather ineffectually off the security around me. Which, to be fair is unfairly thick and beefy-I'm being kept in stasis, in the middle of a fortress, guarded by a tribe of magical dragon-people.

Anyone who helps me get out will be richly rewarded. This is going to be tough, and if you have the skills and abilities to get me out, I'll repay you in any way I can.

I'm already dead, so I can ask Battler if he's planning on finishing certain things soon and if he isn't then I can break in, let them off me, then get back in easily when they try to dispose of the body.

But you wouldn't be the only undead in the region. My chief jailor has been here just as long as I have, and she's in a similar situation to you. I think it might be possible to kill her by destroying the entire Crescent Chronicle, but that would take considerable firepower.

That's the difference, though. I'm not undead. I'm actually dead-dead, so I can't be killed again under any circumstance. What's the Crescent Chronicle?

So what's your defense against being phased out or just manhandled out of here?

It's the name of the actual machine that contains me. Normally, a Reyvateil has to pump magic into it 12 hours a day, every day to keep me in stasis. But she's gone missing, so I can at least think.

For one thing, I can fight. Guns, sniper rifles, knives.. I've even got a bit of experience with two-handed sword style! I've got rapid healing enough that I've taken a sword through the heart before and was able to move within a few minutes.

What exactly do they think you did that they have to keep you completely in stasis instead of a regular prison anyway?

How do we know for sure that it's undeserved?

It is most certainly deserved from my enemies point of view. They know I represent an existential threat to their power, and seek to contain me. This isn't about rehabilitation. You don't get sent into stasis for four hundred years if they want to make a better person of you. It has always been about ignoring me.

An existential threat? Can you explain that?

We have quite different worldviews. My enemies either think that humans are naturally superior and should command Reyvateils, or that those who hold such opinions can be talked down peacefully without any bloodshed.

I contend that such humans are a lost cause, and my species should separate itself from humans owing to the history of abuse and slavery we have suffered.

If you are telling the truth, I don't particularly agree with either side, and I'm certainly not going to involve myself in your world's affairs by helping you escape.

They tried to kill me first-but just destroying my body wasn't enough to do that.

Unjustly doesn't mean they didn't have valid reasons from the point of view of the old order.

Rebel leaders, when captured, are typically executed. They were unable to do so in my case, so they settled for second-best.

A rebel leader who can't be executed certainly sounds like someone I'd want to imprison.

None taken. I was not only the symbol of freedom for my people, but also our most powerful warrior and skillful commander. When my enemies were victorious though, they engaged in a vicious smear campaign to mar my name and make me out to be a demon.

Now imagine that she cannot die. Try as you might, there is no final solution to this erksome rebel.

Atoned? For what, destroying slave-keepers and warmongering plutocrats? You either joke, or you position yourself against me.
