I've been looking for you, Pitstain! Where the hell is everyone?!

So far, it's just you and me.

Oh, that's just great... Pit, why is there a journal?

Oh, right. Well, the short version is that Skyworld is now part of some interdimensional internet community that brodcasts to different worlds. We can even visit some of those worlds. Right now a virus is causing some to see doppelgangers of themselves. It seems the virus brought you here.

Well this is just fan-freaking-tastic! Are one of those gods behind this?

Nope! I'm not sure where they are.

Great. I need a drink.

Well, since you're here I might as well introduce you. [He then turns to the journal.] To those who don't know me, my name's Pit. Short dark and broody over there is Dark Pit, or as I call him, Pittoo. [Dark Pit throws a bottle at Pit's head.] Ow!

Stop calling me Pittoo!

A mix of both, actually. This is Dark Pit, or Pittoo. He's my twin. It seems the virus brought him here.

Actually, the question I should be asking is, is stuff like this gonna happen all the time?

Wait, what do you mean "all the time"?

[He turns to Dark Pit]

Well, I've been told viruses have different effects. Like it could turn you into different things or other stuff.

[Dark Pit Facepalms]

It's usually about once or twice a month, and mostly less than a week. But it looks like once a year, old viruses come back too, for longer.

Huh. So, the virus affected you too?

[promisedknight]

Yeah, I had something similar. It just ended for me.

[angelicbadass]

Was your doppelganger a jerk like mine? [Dark Pit throws another bottle at Pit's head.] Oww!

I heard that!

[Turns to Dark Pit]

If the sandal fits, wear it!

[promisedknight]

[He's trying to ignore that. Let's see how long before he cracks.]

From maybe a year or two in the future. Not exactly patient with me.

[Probably won't be long]

Yours is from the future? Mine's from a magic mirror.

Believe me, I'd be in trouble if I had a twin from a mirror.

Heh. In my world, an evil goddess named Pandora was using the Mirror of Truth, a mirror that can make a copy of anything that stands before it, to create Underworld Monsters. I was sent to destroy it, but in doing so Dark Pit got created. He was supposed to be a servant for the Underworld Army, but instead he fights with me. That said, he's still a jerk.

I may be a copy, but I'm still better than you!
