This might sound a little strange, but...well, with Luna's party coming up, I figured I should probably go shopping--I really don't have that many good changes of clothes, since I do so much fighting.

So is there anyone else who'd be interested? Though, to be honest, I'm not sure where would be the best place to start.

Probably someone else's. The one I'm on right now is...I think the term is "medieval"? It's a bit dated by community standards.

Is it an Earth?

I think so? But the people here don't seem to know enough of other worlds to really consider it to have a name like that. They're more concerned with the kingdom and the woods, to be honest.

Then you're probably not on an Earth. Most people there don't know about other worlds at all, and they still have a name for the planet.

I think that might be the case. Most of the worlds I've been to just name themselves after the nearest major landmark.

Do you have any examples?

Well, there's Disney Town, Olympus Coliseum, Radiant Garden...

... And those are entire worlds?

Yes. They're...I don't want to say "smaller," but they're not as spread out as many other worlds I've seen. Typically, it's one small country.

So "world" is your name for "country"?

Not quite. Most of the worlds I've seen have a single country and culture.

And they aren't attached to each other in any way?

How did it come to be like that? Was conquering involved?

There's a legend that all of the worlds were one, once, but a great war broke out. After that, all of the worlds were separate, unable to communicate with each other, to keep them safe. It's possible there might be truth to this.

So they aren't aware of each other? You didn't know about other worlds at all until you came here?

A few do, mostly mystics and keyblade bearers--we're taught not to interfere with the affairs of other worlds, but to protect them from darkness that might invade and attack.

How do you define darkness, exactly?

It's a magical force, born from negative emotions. Negativity can't be avoided, and everyone has some small amount of darkness in them, but sometimes, it can become strong enough to take on a physical form, like monsters.

And that's true for all worlds where you come from?

Yes. And if that darkness manages to overwhelm a world, it will be destroyed.

It's certainly not like that everywhere. It sounds like you have multiple worlds within a bigger world, or something like that.

I think so. I think some part of the large, original world still exists and holds the rest of these smaller worlds together.

You think it still exists? Is there a reason to think it doesn't?

Everything seemed mostly pretty separate, as separate as the worlds across the community. But now that I've seen how everyone else's worlds work, I have to think that something is still holding together the worlds I knew.

I see-- so it's more theoretical.
