I made a mistake reprogramming something, and when it exploded... she was too close to it. She didn't have a chance.
And then everything went back to normal, and we got to that city for real a few days later. I did everything I could short of tying her down to make sure she didn't get hurt. Which was... for the better, since things got crazy right after the blastia exploded anyway, but that's beside the point.
Anyway, the point is that it can get in your head and make you see things that aren't there. And it can reach into your future and your past.
