Kaitou, you owe me. Coffee isn't exactly abundant around here, and I'm still trying to see if the seedlings take.

So, anyway, I've isolated one of the compounds in those Helheim fruits you gave me. There's several different chemicals with different effects, and while I haven't gotten through all of them yet, I did figure out which one is the hypnotic pheromone that makes them so attractive to eat. And on top of that, I developed an antidote.

[She holds up a spray bottle]

This isn't all of it, mind you, but it's roughly the best I can produce here. You'll need a bigger lab with more resources to do more. But the good part is that it can be aerosolized and delivered on a much larger scale. But for now, you'll have to do it one at a time, until you've got a better way to deliver it.

[She takes a sip from a glass of orange juice for a moment.]

Oh, that reminds me. It has a weird side-effect where you're craving oranges for about 72 hours.

Did you get anywhere in on the research of reducing the mutagenic properties of the fruit? The last thing we need is another Hase happening.

Nothing concrete yet. It seems like it might be multiple factors, though. There's the mutagen, there's some more pheromones and some serious psychotropic chemicals, and another compound that acts similar to the pheromone I isolated. It's a chemical that affects the sense of taste, basically making you addicted to the fruit because everything else tastes off or flavorless. I have a feeling this also induces nausea too, but I don't have any proof yet. I'm trying to work on an antidote for that next, since it's possible to stop the spread of the mutagen or even lessen its effects if a victim doesn't feel obligated to eat the fruit just to get some kind of taste.

It's still a good start though. We're looking at close to full innoculation of the worlds populace in case this accelerates the Overlords plans, not to mention Yggdrasill's own. I've taken steps to disable their Scalar System but it's slow going.

If Sagara was on our side, we'd have more luck, but he continues to be the snake.
