I'm a little confused. Or, um, very confused.

Are these really good questions to ask someone you have a crush on?

Do they actually help? I'm sort of put off by the "sexy animal" one, and I'm a porpoise. And the "fictional character you'd marry" one would be really awkward, considering how the community works for a lot of us... What do you think?

I gotta admit there's probably no hard or fast "list" anyone can refer to for this kind of thing.

You're probably better off asking questions you feel are important.

Some of these are a little silly. I guess knowing their favourite shows might be nice so you can watch them together, but do most people take the trouble to watch things live nowadays? Maybe if they don't want people to spoil it for them.

Well, I'd imagine if you were a couple in a stable situation, you could take time to watch things live together as a pair, you know?

I guess that would be nice. You could even talk about it. Maybe I just get a little tripped up on these things.

Yeah. And it's not like On Demand wouldn't allow for rewinding and stuff if you miss something important, right?

I guess it depends on the person. I know whoever I watch this stuff with, I would want to watch some of my favorite shows too.

What about some of the other ones? I still don't understand the sexy animal. Halloween costume ideas?

Well I guess sexy animals are a thing, I never got it myself.

Halloween costumes probably. I've seen a sexy Gandalf before.

That's actually more than a little disturbing.

It's not really that weird. It's like, the Gandalf hat, robe and beard, and then the girl just wears a tube top and spats under it.

I think we've surpassed weird into the mundane by now.

Of course! Maybe I just don't understand it, but... well, I guess I shouldn't talk about these things.

If someone else knows, just ask, and they can probably explain.

It's embarrassing. I should know these things if everybody else already does.

Well I guess that's how you're dealing with that I suppose.

I like to ask questions. And I've never been ashamed of it.

Yeah no, you didn't offend me. If anything, you're just timid that's all.

I just don't want people to be upset.

It's not that bad. You just need to ask more questions.

But won't people think I'm a little...

As my teacher said to me, there are no right or wrong questions, only questions that need answering.

I guess that makes sense, even if it's still embarrassing.
