I don't know about the community, but where I live, it's something we do for our friends. Aside from little presents for the people we're close to, sometimes there are things where you put your name into a hat with a bunch of other people, and everyone gets a name, and you have to find something small but interesting for that person. It's called a "secret Santa".

Did something happen? I haven't seen anything like that.

No, it doesn't seem like it. I'm almost glad, though - with how time works on my world, it's nowhere near Christmas, so I'd look strange trying to buy a gift and having to explain that it's for a secret Santa that's months away.

Do you have any ideas on where to start? I won't ask who you've got - at least, not in public - but a broad suggestion might not be too hard.
