[The video shows what looks to be a high-tech city, or at least what once was; a small screen bug reading "SERPENT, INC." is in the lower right corner of the feed. Clouds of flame and smoke blast the background apart, and somewhere off in the distance a siren wails. High in the sky amid the haze is a large pink airship.

Suddenly the camera jars and bumps to one side as several people in uniforms run by, firing guns ahead of them at the zombies that are breaking through the rubble. A green flash announces the presence of another, and a mass of the undead suddenly fall to pieces at the slice of what looks like an energy saber wielded by Model Z (this is Giro, although few at the comm would know it). He turns and shouts something to the other Guardians, which the camera can't pick up due to distance and noise; what it was becomes evident all the same when everyone else falls back, running in the direction of the ship. Z steps back and holds his sword at the ready as zombies circle around him.

[You hear Tom running, rather quickly and then him slipping to a stop. There's a ding of an elevator, and you hear Tom panting, swearing under his breath. There's a momentary pause of Tom cursing the community, zombies, and basic bad luck in his usual and colorful way.
There's another ding and Tom goes running again, not bothering to stop this time - there's a high scream and Tommy grunts painfully doubling over. He rolls on the ground and his cell phone topples over showing him holding his gut groaning on his hands and knees.

A girls voice calls him 'Daddy', and then rushes over to him holding a bat.]

Yeah! Daddy! Holy shit, Colleen!

[She scoffs, then helps him to his knees before hugging him tightly, then smacking him on the chest, and snarling at him for taking so long to get to her. The feed crackles right when you see the pretty face of Tommy's oldest daughter - holding a bat.]

It seems as though many places on this community have riots at the moment, but what makes these rioters “zombies”? I don’t want to sound uneducated but there are a lot of words in the English language that we don’t have in our language and have not been taught; “zombie” is one of them.

Still alive out there? Still good here. Running out of beer. Still too many sirens, still impossible to get any sleep, suit hopelessly wrinkled. Nobody's dead or bitten here yet, M. almost thought so for five minutes but is ok. was hilarious, video on youtube when this is all over. 5th story had a hatchet, took it to the stairs. they can't climb the fire escape, so we're good. Laptop running out of juice, switched to iphone on charger; power's going out except for the alarms, pos generator is pos. lots of looting, hope they enjoy the free TVs.

And... I don't think there were zombies outside when I went to bed last night.

I can't make them disappear! They won't sit still long enough to fit into my magic panties!

[Valentine is, true to form, huddled away in a dark corner of his tower, the darkness of the room indicating it's somewhere with no windows-- or, at least, very few. his voice is verging on hysterics when he speaks, although he's fighting and failing miserably to sound calm.]

Zombies. Zombies! Of all the stupid, pointless-- [he's interrupted by a sudden bang of something heavy and fleshy throwing itself at the door, and he may or may not have just squeaked like a startled teenage girl.]

E-ehm, well, ah-- w-what I mean to say is that I'd rather like a-a bit of a hand here-- I mean, er, I've got things under control for now, obviously, but-- [there's another sound-- something valuable shattering off screen. Valentine pauses to shout at them.]

HEY! I certainly hope you plan to pay for that! Stupid, brainless, rotting bastards!

[the zombies moan in protest and, by the sound of it, start piling up against the door. it creaks precariously.]

Ah-- um-- so yes if anyone would just so happen to be a worldhopper willing to help out a person in need-- I-I can't be eaten by zombies! I-I'm a very important man!

[the door creaks even more loudly and he drops the "book" with a yelp, shutting the video off.]

Okay, Sumdac Tower is now under total lock down due to zombie invasion. Some things that I've learned about beating up zombies is that it's really really really messy and really really really smelly. After taking who know how many showers I've taken and I still don't think I've gotten all the zombie goo off. So I'm more then happy to be stuck in the tower with several people from the city but now I'm bored.

[The video feed starts with a view of the Gran Via Madrileña, one of the most famous and crowded streets of Madrid. The street is totally empty except for the view of some rotten corpses on the ground and the military forces of the city keeping at bay the zombies who are still walking. There's a sudden shift of camera angle, and Spain comes into view, wearing a military uniform. He narrows his eyes at something in the distance.]

They're faster than the zombi...[He doesn't have time to finish when a zombie dog runs in his direction and jumps, jaws open and claws ready. Spain raises his arm and shoot the dog between the eyes with a pistol that was not visible before.] Thankfully, not that much faster. [He says as the dog falls down.]

Are we the only ones blessed with zombie dogs or is it happening on other worlds?
