[the feed turns itself on in a pretty nice-looking hotel room. it's not swank by many people's standards, but it's decent - the sort of room that looks like it earned about three stars, and came by them modestly. there's a faint glow of neon coming in through the windows, and the sound of a shower running somewhere in the background.

but mostly, front and center, there's one (1) Kevin Brown, out of his mailman duds and wearing equally old-guy-chic plaid cotton pajamas, a towel draped over his shoulders, remote control in hand.]

Well this sure as hell isn't the concierge channel. I was wonderin' when you folks were gonna show up again, though I guess it just figures you'd crop up in the middle of my vacation.

Las Vegas, in case any've you're wonderin'. It's pretty nice, so far. Little busy, little crazy, little loud, but on the whole, it's been a good time. Though I do not understand why all the Elvis impersonators keep comin' up to me to say hello. I appreciate the King as much as the next guy. Just didn't expect him to ... well, appreciate me.

Wife's in the shower, I got a good half hour or so to kill on my hands. What's goin' on with all've you?

[ the message appearing on the community has quite obviously been typed quickly - maybe even in some sort of hissy fit. ]

Okay, so if someone on the community named Mami Tomoe has been talking to you about me and telling you all sorts of stuff about me DON'T BELIEVE WHAT SHE'S SAYING!!

[ yes, someone isn't really taking the fact that her embarassing past which she has a lot of issues and regrets over as well, but that aside is being revealed. ]

I don't care what she's saying, I'm badass, okay!!

( ooc: i might be a little slow on replies, but still, feel free to tag! )

[Lyall looks tired- it's early morning for him, which means he should be heading off to bed. Instead, he's still awake and working for some reason. He looks... not quite up to his usual flawless self. His cravat is slightly askew, and his hair is not in its usual tidy arrangement.

Something is clearly terribly wrong. If one can pick up such cues from cravats, that is.]

Good morning, everyone. I was wondering...

[His lips tighten slightly, unhappily.]

I was wondering how many- if any- of you regret your involvement in this place?

Additionally, has anyone ever managed to voluntarily remove themselves? I've heard of it being done by some whim of the community's, but I was curious as to anyone had ever left on their own and not been bothered again. This is entirely hypothetical, of course. I've no pressing reason to leave.

I thought there might be a fair amount of interest in the latest news around this place. So I'm sharing, now that I have something to share.

Now that we have him.

[There is a definite edge of nervousness in his voice, his posture. Not over the broadcast, but rather, he's fretting, worried and a bit anxious for an outcome that is still unknown.]

Recently quite a few of us witnessed Captain Steve Rogers's final broadcast when his aircraft went down during his last mission. This was several decades in the past from where I am.

SHIELD has been working at locating the wreckage from the crash. And we've found it. We've found him. Frozen in ice in the arctic.

[A brief moment where he steps aside and the video shows what looks like a fairly sophisticated medical setup, a lot of movement of people, rushing, bustling around a table, figure on it barely visible in the commotion and even then, motionless. He's quick to shift the video's view though. This is classified guys. Shhh.]

It's probably too early to be hopeful or expect things to end well, but based on Captain Rogers's physiology, it's possible that after he thaws... he could still be alive. It's, realistically, a long shot.

But it's Steve. And if anyone can...

At the very least, we can bring him home. [For a hero's burial if nothing else.]

I'll try to keep everyone updated. I'll be keeping an eye on him. [He's going to go watch him sleep now, ok? Ok.]

[Hello, community -- this is a video post, and for once it's intentional. Reeve is standing in front of a field of debris, and far in the background is an ocean. Reeve pushes a button -- and suddenly a huge dam across the harbor lights up. Water begins pouring through it, spinning turbines and as the energy builds, a generator in the foregrounds hums to life.]

And there it is.

[Reeve looks unapologetic ally proud, settling a familiar, furry kitten on his hip.] The Midgar reconstruction project is now one-hundred percent clean energy. If we can finish out the year successfully, we can begin phasing in hydroelectric power in place of coal. Edge should be 100% self sustaining in five years. And to think, Rufus wanted solar power.

And now, I am taking a very well earned vacation.

[Private; Locked to friends of 11-12.]

Is there anyone who would be willing to host 11-12 for a few days, let him explore their world? I'm sorry to ask like this, but it's rather important.
