How many people here have run into other members who are from their world, but in the past? I know I'm not the only one it's happened to.

Has anyone ever felt the urge to tell them about what's going to happen? Or to try to get to their timeline and prevent something that happened there?

I'm sorry, I meant nearly destroyed. It's been a close thing each time, and there were a lot of deaths even though it managed to scrape through.

And I can't help thinking that even if I don't change things, this time around they might not be so lucky.

One of the most powerful cities of magic in my world was destroyed as a result of things that are currently unfolding for someone else on this community - three years ago. There was only one survivor.

How can that lead to good things happening?

...I don't know. Sometimes it's just hard to see it.

The person I knew from a different time was my mother. She and her whole kingdom were killed by an invasion. But there was hope after. There's always that. Isn't there?

... You know, you remind me of a friend of mine. She'd probably say the same thing.

Either that or she'd say it was my duty to go back and try to change things for the better. I have no idea, honestly, she's very idealistic but a little unpredictable.
