First the weird cake and the second I look on the computer I stole, there's some sort of community? Whoever named it is probably an idiot, but you guys seem nice enough!

[ There's a girl sitting at a desk in a dormitory looking room with a bunk bed in the background, but there are only enough things in the room for one person. She leans back in her chair, lifting her feet and putting them up on the desk next to the laptop and setting a plate with a piece of the cake on her lap, but points at the screen with two chopsticks. ]

From the looks of some of these posts, you guys have too much personality to be some kind of NPC network. There's no way you guys are from this world or I would've noticed you around already. Identify yourselves so we can get the annoying introductions out of the way. I'm Yuri Nakamura. You can probably just go with Yuri though, considering--

[ There's a knock and the door and Yuri looks back. A quiet girl's voice comes from behind the door. "Nakamura-san, can you just open the door? I don't have anywhere to sleep tonight.." Yuri turns around, dropping her feet to the ground again, and yells through the door. ]

Find somewhere else to stay, you've had all day! I'm not staying in the same room as one of you fake people! I gave you your things and I already flushed your key, so get out of here!

[ She turns back to the computer, both eyes closed as she sighs, then opens one eye to peek at the screen. ]

Where was I? Oh! Just call me Yuri. Then, it's your turns!

Well, I live in a small town called Kasumi, it's the year 2001, up until about a year ago I was possessed by a ghost who kept trying to kill me, except she didn't actually mean to do it, so that was okay, and my sister's a doctor and my best friend is a spirit and she lived a thousand years ago, so I'm pretty accustomed to dead people already.

Or you could believe that I'm a very important citizen of Free Free Planet, the mystical land where you don't do anything all day long. Whichever.

How about I believe that you're a very important citizen of Free Free Planet in the small town of Kasumi and you didn't do anything all day long until about a year ago when you were possessed by a ghost, et cetera et cetera~

Of course I could always be a citizen of Lala Land, where I'm imagining this whole thing and I'm secretly alive and just in a coma somewhere! Or Paranoidoville in which all of you are secretly working for God and are planning on trying to convince me to get satisfied with myself since his first plan isn't working.

Magical inter-world internet, every world is different, you're not the only person posting from the afterlife, sometimes weird things happen that we call viruses, and these can either be really cool or really, really bad. Nobody knows what the ducks are for.

The ducks are either for the sole purpose of confusing people by making them think there's meaning where there is none or they're meant to be so ridiculous that it calms people down so that they don't start thinking they're being haunted by some kind of evil piece of technology and get so scared that they drive themselves insane and end up in an asylum because they're afraid of it. If you see the duck you just go "Haha what?" and suddenly it seems that much more harmless! It's pretty simple.
